The background is supposed to assume that the party has been adventuring together for awhile.
We can either go with that, and hopefully everyone meshes, or we can play out some introductions...which would eat up a lot of time and board-space.
I could see "mini-groups" starting out, and then meeting up and working together...

I'd buy that for a dollar. lol, I'm okay with that idea :)
Fine by me too. I'm afraid I'm going to be fairly quiet until Sunday though, I'm at a boardgames convention tomorrow afternoon and Saturday \o/
Sorry to do that just as we start, I wasn't sure of the timings when I signed up...

Can always catch up later on.

The adventure starts out with a letter....Everyone meeting up somewhere will be a nice seque.

Woops just realized I didnt say whose character this is...this is Avenger820's character, sorry about that all :)
As far as introductions, I had envisioned in Aleena's background that she had just recently moved to Absalom, so I might not know everyone. I liked the idea of small mini-groups getting together to become the party as a whole. However, I am also up for whatever the party wants as consensus.

I'm gone until Sunday? I didn't realize that... :P
For those who don't want/have any prior connection to each other, we'll be starting out in The Puddles...one of the poorer areas of the city.
If anyone wanted to be a pathfinder, that's all good. Adventure won't be revolving around the lodge, but we can work it in if we want to keep gaming after this adventure. You're venture-captain would be Adril Hestram.
I'll make the initial post later today/early tomorrow, and give everyone a few posts to get acquainted, catch up, etc.

I'd like to go with the adopted trait, if that's alright.
Adopted: You were adopted and raised by someone not of your actual race, and raised in a society not your own. As a result, you picked up a race trait from your adoptive parents and society, and may immediately select a race trait from your adoptive parents’ race.
Then I would like:
Hardy: Dwarves receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, spells, and spell-like abilities.
Let me know if that's alright. If not, I'll select another.
