1- Oracle
2- Warpriest
3- Paladin
4- Rogue
5- Cleric
6- Ranger
7- Magus
8- Wizard
9- Fighter

These are the classes I've played in the last 5 years or so. The gnome oracle (seer actually) was my favorite, though he died in short order. My dwarf fighter was a killing machine, which quickly became tiresome. My all around best built character was probably the paladin. The gent was popular as he had a relatively low AC and absorbed so much damage that everyone else could get on with whatever they wanted. With a high con and extra LOHs, the guy could take the beating. I played the ranger when our party was in power game mode, and would probably rank higher if the situation was different. Sometimes I wouldn't even bother to knock the bow, rather just twiddle the thumbs while some other folks would one-shot the encounter. Currently playing a warpriest and loving it.

Shadow Lodge

Summoner--Yes I know it's overpowered. But I love thinking through the relationship between the Eidolon and the Summoner, whether it's childhood friend, romantic partner, kids toy, tormentor, or whatever. I love the Drama.

Oracle--Again I like the relationship, but this is what I imagine it would be like to have a diety talk to you, to be their prophet, whether they want it or not. It's scary and creepy and wonderful.

Fighter--love all the combos and the simplicity.

Fighter will always be my number one; I'm not going to pretend it's the most powerful class, mechanically, but the versatility of the class and the simplicity of it are things I find really attractive. I think it's one of the best classes for just playing a guy. I think with most - not all, but most - other classes there are certain presumptions or requirements in terms of personality and lifestyle that come with it, where as with a fighter you can be anybody, just with a certain degree of martial training.

Bloodrager would probably be my second favorite. It's weird because I'm actually not a big fan of barbarians or sorcerers, but the combination of the two is something that just works for me. The rage a barbarian feels not being a mental state they work themselves into but a surge of magical energy, and the innate magic of a sorcerer manifesting in violent, volatile ways is great on a conceptual, thematic level, and mechanically they're really fun with all the different bloodlines and archetypes, and mixing bloodlines with crossblooded makes some really fun combinations.

Number 3 was hard to pin down but I'm going with Alchemist. Again, versatility; I've made a half-dozen alchemists and they're all distinct and different both mechanically and thematically. Both my noblest heroes and vilest villains have been alchemists. They're a lot of fun and that pulpy, mad scientist, perform weird experiments on myself mentality really works for me.

Honorable mentions go out to Gunslinger, Magus, Ninja, Warpriest, Witch, Vigilante, Slayer, Shaman, Medium, and Spiritualist. And two classes that I really like conceptually but fall apart for me mechanically are the Summoner and Kineticist.

In no particular order...

Soulknife (Ultimate Psionics)
Magister (genius guide to Magister)
Stalker (Path of War)
