Is there any list of which lodges have Warhorn pages?

Liberty's Edge 1/5

I've found Warhorn a great way to identify games going on at game stores.

I started using the Boston Lodge to find my first in person game. However I noticed they cover Central MA, RI, and NH and yet when I looked over the entire month I didn't really see any games in NH. I thought it was a little odd so I spent a while on Google and found another lodge that covers NH with games that weren't mentioned on the previous page.

So, some lodges are big and others are not.

Is there any concrete list of lodges?

I do mean other than emailing and talking with venture captains or lieutenants.

Bonus question, if I ever did decide to start DMing; If I managed to run a game at a new game store that had previously never hosted PFS (It's been open for less than a year) -Without- any contact with a Venture Captain and posted it on Warnhorn.... What sort of reaction, if any, do you think there would be from any Captains ect...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I don't think there's a 100% complete list anywhere, but there's various efforts to do so.

One of the more recent ones I've seen is this map

To answer your second question, they should be pleased to hear that more people are gaming and having a good time. If you reach out to Venture Officers they'll try to help you out as much as they can, but it's not at all necessary that they be directly involved in every single location.

Probably "COOL!Someone running pfs.need any help?"

Yeah, how different pathfinder groups keep their brain/organization center decentrilized makes it reaaaaly hard to get into if you don't know that they're there. Hence the map. If you click on the dot it should bring up their brain/group be it a facebook page, meet up, warhorn, carrier pidgeon service or message board

5/5 **** Venture-Captain, Massachusetts—Central & West

Hi Ronald! VC Central/West MA!

So, the calendar on our site is just the games on our Boston Lodge PFS site. While the Boston Lodge is occasionally host to games in NH, with the increased presence of NH VOs, we split the region, and now it's in a region with Vermont. With the split of the region into the Mountain Lodge, which you can find here: LINK

Another thing is that Warhorns are not limited to just lodges. Several stores in NH operate their own Warhorns to coordinate all of their events, not just PFS, in one central place. Where are you located and I can send you a handy-dandy supply of info. Feel free to PM me here or e-mail me at CambridgePFS[at]gmail[dot]com. We venture officers are the ones who keep track of stuff to be a central source of info, so please don't feel like you're a bother for asking!

With that said, as to your third question, I don't think there'd be a problem with you starting up PFS at a store. We do have a lot of games going on in Southern NH and getting more going in Central NH. If anything, we might ask that you try to avoid running PFS at a game store in close proximity to another if they'd split the player base too greatly.
