Arista looks at Sadhana with an expression of concern, "Really? Did she say what was wrong? I wonder if things have been a little too stressful lately? Well, we'll let her sleep, maybe she'll feel better after some rest." She looks for a clean place and then creates a meal for them.
"I'm sorry, I know it isn't much or even really tasty at that but it'll fill ya up."
Toni shakes her head. "Well, let's go upstairs. We can talk a little later, okay, Orias?"
"Actually I am. I guess fighting horrendous monsters works up an appetite." Sādhanā says with a grin.
"Enjoy your meal, Toni," Orias says. "The rest of you as well."
"Well it's good to know your name Orias." the magus says as Arista creates the meal. She frowns as Toni mentions Rikali not feeling well her curious mind considering the possible impact of recent events.
" Go ahead and start eating, I just want to look in on her and I'll be right back."
Arista looks at Sadhana and nods, "Alright then, let me know if there is anything I can do to help." Looking around at the others she says, "Is there any way someone can give the food some flavor? I know it doesn't taste great, but maybe it could at least taste better. I can't wait to get everything here done so we can head back home."
Sienna gives the food a dash of flavor, thanks to her prestidigitation. "I'm gonna buy you a wand of that spell when we get back."
"She'd use it up in a day," Ylrhea jokes.
Sienna nods sagely. "Especially if the baby is messy."
Sādhanā quietly heads to the bed chamber to see if Rikali is all right.
Rikali sleeps on one of the beds, Gukinshi propped up against it.
She smiles as she blushes a bit, then sighing she says, "You're probably right. I hadn't really had time to give it much thought really."
Sādhanā sits on one of the beds next to Rikali, watching her quietly for a few minutes.
Toni laughs at the exchange. "Heck, Arista can already cook better than I can. I just used to eat Spaghetti-Os and Hot Pockets. I was a microwave master!"
Arista gets a curious look on her face, "What's a microwave?"

"Oh...that's right...Umm...Well, instead of having to cook on a fire, there would be a box that you put food in and it would cook it for you, but it's faster than a stove. You have stoves here, right?" Toni asks, flustered.
Arista chuckles slightly, "Yes, we have stoves that use wood to heat up. Sometimes we might use a pit to cook in as well if it's something too large though. When we're out on the road like this though, we usually cook over fires or eat dried meats and fruit, that sort of thing. I'm hoping we can finish our business here before we run out of supplies. I can create food and water, but it just isn't the same as an actual meal."
Toni nods. "It's going to take some getting used to. I already miss some things about home..."
She nods her head in understanding, "I'm sorry To. We just couldnt leave you there though. It'll be alright, once you get adjusted I'm sure everything will be alright."

Sitting for a few minutes more Sādhanā smiles wistfully, again marveling at the resemblance between Rikali and Clara.
I miss you so much, Love she thinks, kissing her wedding ring as she gets up and quietly goes back to the main area. When they were done and got back to Valwick she wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed with her wife in her arms and never get out of it.
"This place is more exciting than just sitting in a tower all day. Give it some time and I'm sure you'll adapt." Cyna says trying to encourage Toni.
Toni smiles at Cyna. "I don't really have much of a choice, do I?"

Cyna shrugs. "I'm sure there are a few portals lying around if you look hard enough. Can't say where you'd end up if you tried though. So no, not much of a choice at all."
"Just wait until we get you to Hadrinn's I'm sure whatever this microwave thing is doesn't compare."
Toni manages a chuckle. "We'll see."
Arista sits quietly, listening to Cyna and Toni talk. Being rather new to this time herself, she didn't know what words of comfort she could possibly offer to the young woman that had been literally ripped from her world into this one.
Her mind wonders as she starts to think about other things, the rest of her family, how she may never know what became of her parents, or her brother. Even though she had clues, even if she could get the sword fixed she would never make it up those mountains in her condition with the colder months coming so soon. Then of course getting back to home to Valwick and Alethiro. She wondered how he was handling the news of becoming a father and if he missed her as much as she missed him. There was not a single day that went by that she didn't think of him, pray for his and all of Valwicks safety. She longed for warmth, for home, and for him.
"We need to stop getting down about stuff," Ylrhea says finally after taking some food. "There's a lot left to do. Tomorrow, we're gonna kick some ass and Toni and Rikali will head to Siphas where stuff is a little more normal."
"Well said," Sādhanā says coming back into the room and sitting down to eat. "We're all missing home, and with the cold coming it;s easy to get ourselves caught up in our thoughts, but the sooner we get this all done, the sooner we can go home."
Drago kept his distance from the rest of the group, but remained in the room. What in the Hells was I thinking getting myself within reach of that thing? I almost got Arista killed, that would have gone over well. Suddenly, there came Tarja's voice in his head.
"Get your head on straight right now Drago. The Great Elder showed me what transpired in your dreams, and you should not be down on yourself. Now, you either get your head in the game, or I'll kick your ass when I get back. Got it?"
Drago's eyes went wide, "Yes Ma'am."
"Home..." Sienna says in a faraway voice.
Cyna takes Sienna by the hand. "Homesick?"
"A bit, yeah," Sienna answers, squeezing Cyna's hand. "It's been a long time since I had a place I could actually call 'home'..."
"I feel the same, but that's why were out here isn't it? To protect our home?"
Shaking her head she tries to get it together and wipes the melancholy look off her face. Looking about the room, she notices Drago a ways off sitting by himself.
"Drago? What are you doing all the way over there? Get over here with the rest of us and eat something."
"For ourselves and others, I suppose," Sienna answers. "Seems like we keep finding more 'others' everyday."
"Yeah, and they need us too," Ylrhea says, after a couple of bites.
"It's a good reminder of why we're doing what we're doing. Where would they be right now if we didn't?" Sādhanā says before taking another bite.
While she doesn't eat, she sits with the others and listens to them talk back and forth. Her friends, her family, the people that she would do anything for. As long as they all had each other, everything would be alright. She smiles warmly as she watches all of them.
After finishing her food, Ylrhea stretches. "I'll take first watch. Who wants to keep me company?"
Snapping out of her thoughts she looks at Ylrhea, "I'll stay up with you if you want. I'm not really tired for some reason."
"Okay."
Cyna nods. "I'll stay up as well."
She looks around and laughs, "So, how many of us are staying up then? Maybe we should call it a slumber party instead? Cyna....you've been staying up quite a bit lately, maybe you and Sienna should get some rest. No one has been getting me up for watches lately, so it's only fair." She looks at her friends kindly, "Me and Rhea can handle things if you're tired. Right Rhea?"
"Yeah," Ylrhea says. "We've got this."
Sienna wraps an arm around Cyna. "Me and Cutie can take second watch."
"Ok I guess I'll go get some rest. Wake me for third watch" Sādhanā says stretching.
She waves as the others head off to bed, "Okay you guys, have a good rest. We'll wake you up later." Smiling she turns to Ylrhea, "So, how are things going?"
