Where's Treerazer?
Still messing with people.
From what I remember hearing, Starfinder is not exclusively Pathfinder in Space. It's more Pathfinder in the Solar System, which means some space, but ALSO potentially means visiting the (many) different planets. Some of which are forested. And there IS a nice group of elves on one of them...

The initial announcement explicitly mentions an AI god and that the gods refuse to say what happened to Golarion. So that's pretty horsey mouthy that the gods are still around and functional.
'Functional' is debatable. Apparently they're history destroying monsters and actually cooperate and agree on things now, despite how absurd that seems.

I always thought of Jedi as more Magi myself.

Soulknives with Telekinetic and Telepathic abilities.

I had an android worship Siri from the iPhone once. She gained self awareness and took over satellites in a post apocalyptic game we played. In Starfinder I hope we can worship Casandalee. Maybe she is like running Absolam space station like Mother did in the Rai comics from Valiant comics
I miss Shooter-era Valiant. It was never the same after he left. :(

Id much prefer they came out with a relatively new Pantheon. I know its been done with another famous setting, but having all the Gods 'leave' for a time with their world would be pretty awesome.
Probably a different Core Pantheon, with some former Core Deities being missing or being "Locale" to some area.

Apparently there was discussion on the panel about what the symbol of AbadarCorp would be.
A tilted A? It still works after they get bought out/hostile takeover-ed by Asmodeoco.

We could try to envision how PFRPG deities adapted to the SFRPG setting
Milani should add Tax Evasion to her portfolio, to the extreme delight of my visionary players

I assume that many who are tied to a local theology like Milani would disappear along with the planet, assuming Asmodeus didn't succeed in having her killed off long ago.

Why would Milani disappear? Are there not still oppressive governments that people want to rebel against? Or perhaps oppressive corporations?

Milani isn't really tied to local theology though? She's a deity of revolution and can be found wherever there's oppression?

Taxes are pure oppression. Tax evasion is an act of hope and resistance. Spread the message. Long live Milani

What I'm interested in is if/how the other planes have advanced.
DEMONS+LAZERS=DOOM!
They do really need a reason why outsiders don't use high tech.
While most of the energy weapons in the Tech Guide are useless in outsider battles (resistances, high cost, feat investment vs. teleport, better melee damage, and SLAs), the really big guns like Extinction Devices (kill everything in a vast area not immune to mind affecting that fails a DC 35 Will save) or garden variety nukes (less effective against devils, but the blast wave will hurt anything if it's close enough) means that they should be their arsenals, especially for organized planes like Heaven and Hell.
Do they lack the raw materials for some reason? Ancient concordances against using them? (And the chaotic planes inclined to ignore them can't get organized enough to run a sophisticated economy?) Deific fiat?
This issue really has nothing to do with Starfinder, though. Androffa had this technology many thousands of years ago, and presumably other species developed in long before that.

The "If the PCs fail" in the last book of WotR mention that Demons might end up with tech stuff while fighting Numeria.

I always thought Demons didn't need tech to rip apart reality...

What I'd like it, is if there ARE deities like PF, that the deities are killable.
Yes, I want them to be able to be destroyed if one wants to.
This makes room for those who wish for a more ATHEIST campaign...where your belief is that your character (or in the real world, our world, a person) is the one that really matters and makes the decisions that can affect the yourself, the galaxy, and the universe).
In PF, an Atheist doesn't make as much sense as in our world, but if you can destroy those who claim to be deities...than Atheism makes a LOT more sense than if they are all powerful beings that you see the workings of constantly.

Demon's enjoy ripping apart opponents with their own claws/tentacles/whatever? Abyssal energies mess with tech, causing it to not work properly?
Devils don't trust using high tech against opponents for worries that it will fall into the hands of others? They have agreement with good outsiders and inevitables not to escalate technology use against those who don't have it, because it goes against some cosmic rules?
No clue what would motivate Daemons though, unless the other outsiders just try their best to keep them from ever getting much technology for worry it will be turned against them.

I would imagine that Rovagug and a whole host of Empyreal Lords, Demon Lords, Infernal Dukes, and so many more in that vein would be gone. They're fairly location specific and would fall out of worship. I'd imagine a fair amount of Vudran gods would also be gone, such as Matravash, goddess of the Matra river, would be gone as well.
