This is less PC, more NPC, but here. This was originally written for a Pathfinder Facebook group. Someone challenged me to write a Neutral Good Lashunta Warpriest of Irez. Anyways, it shouldn't be too hard to make it into either a Mystic or a Solarian. I'm guessing it should work in either time period. Right. Here we go.
After what must have been weeks of searching, she found herself alone in the wetlands. She had not had even telepathic communication with anybody for longer than she felt she could remember. She began to doubt her purpose and goals. Barely clinging to her sanity, she decided to begin her trek home the next day, and set camp for the night.
She was not sure if what happened next was dream or reality, she found herself confronted by a strange serpentine creature with wings arising from behind the reeds. She reacted at first in fear, drawing her bow. But she did not fire.
A voice had spoken into her mind. She spoke back. No vocalization occured. They stared at eachother for hours, nearly unblinking. After a time they came to an understanding. She had found what she had been looking for.
Dorés remained in the wetlands several more days, learning to divine using a deck of tarot cards that were next to her upon waking. She learned the art of throwing darts and cards alike. When she returned home, she did so with divine magic, and more importantly, with luck on her side.
She led many successful expeditions thereafter, but more startlingly, many unsuccessful expeditions as well. She had become an expert at minimizing casualties in the events of loss, which she always seemed to predict beforehand, but nevertheless, the generals had felt her reliance on "luck" and "fate" were unreliable at best, and remarkably dangerous. She was removed from any leadership positions in their military.
But that did not matter to Dorés. She had found what mattered the most. She returned to the wetlands. It had now been many years since she had first visited, but everything was largely the same as she had left it. It did not take long for her to build a shrine to her patron, Irez. She now worships alone in a small bamboo temple. It had been many years and she's grown old. But every so often, when someone is in particular need of knowing the unknown, the young lashuntas of Castrovel follow rumors of a fortune teller in the wetlands who would be able to give them what they need.

I have been thinking about playing an Android Solarion lately, i need to know more about the setting to see how well it works but here is the basic idea:
The shell used to be part of an extremist movement for Android Rights during the final years of the push for recognition. A small group of Androids were following a tip about a black site producing Androids for sale as custom order slaves. Things did not go well and in the end the Androids detonated their charges to take out the site rather than risk being captured themselves. Automated robots that survived the blast continued on their maintenance routines and cleaned much of it up, even patching up a few of the most intact Shells. Several years later the character's soul enters the repaired shell and begins life in an isolated and weirdly preserved battlefield, no knowledge of what happened or what it was doing there. Eventually it wandered out of the site with some basic provisions and tries to learn what is going on and how it came to be. Due to the circumstances of its awakening it has some lingering mental trauma and as it pieced together some aspects of its shell's past, it has come to believe that it is haunted by remnants of all the souls of the Androids used to repair it. The nature of its birth and early development pushed it to questions on the nature of creation and destruction which became a pathway to being a Solarion. Due to its belief in being haunted by other people's memories and general PTSD from its awakening, it has tendencies towards entropy, strongly believing in imposing what order can be enforced but also believing that order will eventually decay when it is time for it. As something of a control freak it prefers to spend as much time as it can in vac suits or other sealed environments where it can dictate everything about its surroundings. Prefers tight spaces but not clutter and, so long as in a proper vac suit, really enjoys spending time outside the hull of a ship.
I think it could be interesting to play a character that isnt really amnesiac but has a strong sense of personal history without actually having lived any of it. it could be fun to come across old wanted posters with your face on them but also know it was, literally, from a different life. Androids in general seem to have an interesting approach as old souls leave and new ones enter the same shells so you could conceivably run into strangers who knew your past selves. I wonder if there will be a thing with Androids having memories or feelings from past souls in their shells. imagine Androids who have lived entirely peaceful lives who some day go for a check up and find an ancient bullet lodged in their frame is causing them pain in the present.

I am considering the idea of a blonde female human (or perhaps korasha lashunta) mechanic who is an absent minded professor/mad scientist hybrid. Her droid companion is a very realistic representation of a classic (male) mad scientist. Her absentmindedness would play well into the "dumb blonde" stereotype even though she is in fact a genius (albeit one lacking in common sense and social skills).
Some of my players are just naive enough to assume that the droid is the mad scientist and she is the ditzy assistant instead of vice versa. As a bonus, she should work well as the party's patron both before and after that revelation (which may be a big nothing if my players are slightly more astute than I expect them to be).

Does she look dumb?

That sounds like a parody of Girl genius. I like it.

My husband is planning on creating a Solarian Space Goblin named Yoba for when I do my homebrew version of We Be Goblins in space.
He suggested that for some of the NPCs to have a group of Goblin siblings named by their [lazy] Goblin mom using randomly strung together letters of the alphabet that also happen to be texting acronyms.
Examples: OMG, WTF, LMNOP, BRB and LOL would be pronounced Oemgee, Watafa, Elemenope, Berb and Lol respectively.
This is staying in theme with their ship AI (Gooble) essentially being Google Assistant.

And that is exactly why I decided to make her a blonde.
As for her robot companion -- remember what her "parents" actually were? If the companion is lifelike enough, the party could be in for a bit of a surprise when she has to get out her tools to repair her "father".

Hmm. Shirren Mechanic. One who has made the personal decision to use his extra limbs to help him in his work in secret, making him faster than most other mechanics. So when anyone interrupts his work, he immediately freaks and hits his head, scrambling to hide his shame. He also always makes a point to try the local grub, and collects useless junk to decorate his workspace. Tells everyone they're weapons he's working on.

So, based off stuff we know from the Iseph and Eox preview, here's an idea:
Nano is an android whose previous incarnation made an ill-advised deal with a Bone Sage before deciding to pass on. Now she's on the run from said Bone Sage who wants to collect what he believes is owed him, even though Nano has no connection to said deal beyond inhabiting the body that a previous person used to make a deal.
MageHunter |
A lawful neutral shirren soldier who worships Zon-Kuthon. Raised by Vesk, she sees her addiction to choice as a detrimental weakness and dedicates herself to pain and obedience and to avoid pleasure. While she does make basic decisions frequently and can control herself, she is obsessed with serving to make herself stronger.

I wonder what would make a better bounty hunter, soldier or operative...
It depends on what kind of bounty hunter you're going for. Boba Fett would be a soldier from the heavy armor, flamethrower, blaster rifle, and jetpack. Cad Bane would be an operative with the light armor and dual pistols.

CN Kathasa soldier, wields a wide variety of weapons ranging from pistols to rifles to flamethrowers, with a name for each of them. He's a mercenary, sells his services ostensibly to the highest bidder but eventually finds himself attached to his current crew, at least as long as they stay lucrative enough.
The Hero of Canton, the man they call J'ain.

I want to try experimenting with the new Elven lore. They seem to have become paranoid and antisocial due to the Gap messing with their minds.
As such, I find it moderately interesting to try playing an Elven Operative who tries to overcome such psychological problems and reintegrate into global society.

"There is not a single space without order. Law will shine over all."
LN Shirren Solarian Hellknight, Priest of the Inevitable Law.
Individualism and personal freedom are first priority (for most Shirren).
These must be protected against all threats (especially the Swarm).
This protection will be executed by the inevitable law.
Choices by individuals which are against the law will be counted as anti-individual and are limiting the choices of the other individuals.
A magic-supported frontliner who strikes lawbreakers with pure stellar energy. Nothing can hide from his blindsense.

My girlfriend will do something close to her mesmerist, so if I don't converse the class most likely a mystic or an envoy or operative with additional magic powers - and if its not elf she will punch me :P
I am GM again and thinking about bringing back piet, a goblin who was basically a cabin boy - the new piet would be a space pirate operative
still thinking about what other characters insert
