Orbit of what? The Golarion sun?

That is what we are led to believe.

Does the missing planet Golarion cause a detectable shift in the gravity of the solar system? We are detecting planets orbiting distant stars today based on slight gravitational shifts they cause on the star. So a planet going missing would theoretically be detectable by the missing gravity. Or is the planet missing in such a way that the gravity it exerts is still present, similar to how the light emitted by an invisible torch is still visible?

i am working off the assumption that the gods created and placed the station, one effect of that divine creation was to anchor planets in the same manner as Golarion's gravity once did.

I'm assuming that Absolom Station is far smaller than Golarion was, and has a proportionally smaller gravity. If you give it gravity equal to the planet, that would certainly make it odd to say the least.

I'd love it if this thread stuck to "here is what we know", and speculation was left to other threads. It's nice to have some hard info accumulated in one place.

Starfinder will launch at Gen Con 2017 with the first AP

Possible Starfinder Monster book.

The Starfinder Core rulebook will not be limited to the design of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook. They've learned lessons on better ways to present and teach RPGs since the CRB's release.

Starfinder Core Rulebook will also include the setting information. Not separated from the RPG line like Pathfinder.

Plot Point: Faster Than Light Travel has only been recently released. Other solar systems are available now, meant to be a land rush.

The assumption is that the players are part of a crew of a Starship, space combat an important part. Every player has an important part. Very Star Trek inspired with sprinkles of Firefly.

Classes:

Quote:

Soldier - Fighter++, Heavy weapons, ranged or melee, focus on a weapon specialist.

Operative - Specialize on a subterfuge role, spy, sniper, infiltration, etc, heavy skill focus, master of skills.

Envoy - Helps everyone else out. Princess Leia was mentioned. Space Bard, or Spaceship Captain, etc...

Mechanic - Fixes things! Has a robot companion or AI Companion.

Mystic - Similar to the Oracle. Channels the magical energy of the universe. Not only from gods. Psycho, head exploder, the force etc...

Technomancer - combines magic and technology. Magic is thought if like programming code. Figure out the laws of the universe, bend and break them.

Solarian - Balance of the universe between Energy and Entropy. Embraces two sets of powers for each, using them effects the power of the other. Light and Heat, vs Gravity. Could make a Jedi with this class, mystical melee. Has a mote of stellar energy that can be used to form energy weapons or armor.
