Hey All, I am new to running PFS games & I am a little confused about finding things like gem stones in scenarios. For instance, in one scenario the players find (24) gem stones worth 25 gold each. But they are not listed in the chronicle sheet nor are they added to the gold on the sheet either. Do I treat this as I would a normal house game & it gets split up by the party? I know this is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer but I would hate to do something wrong & screw up peoples PC's.

Usually at the end of each encounter, there's a blurb that says "If the players find the gems, award each tier..." and gives how much money each player gets for finding the loot. This is the amount after it's divided amongst the players, after the Society takes their cut. I'm not sure exactly how that math is done, but I think it's based on the assumption of 6 PCs.
On the chronicle sheet, there's a max gold per scenario, which is the total of all those amounts from every encounter. Most of the time, the players beat every encounter and find all the loot, so you just award them that max gold amount, and don't worry about how it was calculated.
