PFS animal companion hp calculations?

I've seen text say that the animal companion gets 4.5 hp a hd rounded down + con modifier.

Something i'd like more specified would be:

1)do they get full hd for their first hd or perhaps both hd they get at lvl 1?

2) It's mentioned that the hp is rounded down so does this mean that the .5 will never make for a whole +1? aka getting 2 extra hd would make for +8 hp rather than +9?

1) no, they do not get full hp on the first HD like PC's.
2) I'd think you round at the end, not incrementally. So every other level you make up that half. At least that's how I've been doing it. =)

1 no full hp
2 it is 4 for first then 5 next repeat for hp

I don't know precisely, but I flagged your post to be moved to the PFS specific sub-forum.

PFS has some different and additional rules from the rest of the game to facilitate that style of play.

It's been FAQ'ed for a while. Society Play has it's own FAQ section so it's good to check out first if there's any questions not answered in the Guild Guide.

How do I determine hit points for my animal companion?

Animal companions receive average hit points per hit die. For d8, the average is 4.5. Multiply 4.5 times the number of hit dice your animal companion has and round down. Recalculate hit points for your companion each time it gains additional hit dice. After its hit points are calculated, add in appropriate bonuses from its Constitution modifier, feats, and so on.

But they definitely don't get max HP for the first HD since it wasn't a player class HD, but a racial one.
