I can't say for sure that I am remembering things correctly, but a very long time ago, I once wrote for an online magazine called "Explosive Runes" that was the product of the web site, DnD Online Games (and was active on that site under the same name I use here.

I think I got into a few conversations with someone over there at the magazine, who might have been Amber Scott. I didn't like her writing (which is really good writing) and she didn't like mine (which is not). But we seemed to get along alright over all.

I can't believe this thing is still out there on the web

I am not sure, but I think one of those writers was Amber Scott

The premise of this thread is "AMBER SCOTT APPRECIATION". If you are here for anything else, leave the thread before posting.

Having not met Amber personally yet. All I have to say is she writes cool stuff. :D

Amber is a terrific writer. I'm loving Siege of Dragonspear so far.

I hadn't connected the name back to her Pathfinder works until just barely. I adapted The Worldwound Incursion into my high-level game that is incredibly cluttered with NPCs. Despite the fact that I was looking to reduce the cast, I wound up adding Anevia and Irabeth anyway because they are such great characters.

Every time I have seen her in a forum, she has been very pleasant and generally awesome. No one deserves the harassment she's getting, and especially not her. I hope this all passes as soon as possible.

Chronicle of the Righteous remains one of my favorite Campaign Setting books. My PFS characters probably tend to worship Empyreal Lords more often than is typical for people in Golarion as a result....

The Worldwound Incursion remains my single favorite AP installment of all time, and Chronicle of the Righteous is top-five in my favorite campaign setting books for any game system I know. Amber Scott has more talent in her left big toe than most of us accumulate in an entire lifetime.

I have a signed copy of Chronicle of the Righteous sitting in a place of prominence on my bookshelf. I love Amber’s work! Sending love your way. Like all bad things, this too shall pass.

Lets not forget Breaking the Bones of Hell, one of the best chapter six of all the adventure paths.

I'm a huge fan of Amber's writing. Honestly, I've enjoyed just about everything she's written.

I had no idea this thread was here. I was looking for something today and stumbled on it. Wow, what lovely words of support--I appreciate it so much! I'm doing well and keeping on with my writing. Thank you all again, this was just wonderful to read. :)

That's great to hear, Amber!

Yep, that's me! Hi, Terquem!

Insert my appreciation for an author who can string multiple Latin crabby references into a single NPC's name here. This scientist tips his hat to ye and Lissa! :)

I wonder if Amber still has the Robin Hood hat she wore in some of the Siege Of Dragonspear* promo videos?

I hope so. I was very jealous of that hat :)

I just wanted to say Amber did a FANTASTIC job with Trail of the Hunted, the first installment of the Ironfang Invasion Adventure Path! It starts you off right in the action, makes you care about the people you're helping, and though there's desperation throughout, you slowly get the sense of hope that it's not over, and that with enough cunning, determination and a little magic, you can turn the tables! Thank you, Amber, for this awesome beginning! :D

Silver Crusade

Yeah, Thankies Amber! Trail is looking to be really fun ^w^

Generally as a rule I often have a blind spot to the authors of RPG products...Paizo has been changing that. Amber Scott is one of the first writers I did notice and look forward to her writing.
