No, this is not a humorous thread by any means.
So I just got off the phone with the hotel. I was attempting to modify my reservation since there were additional rooms available at the con rate.
(Background! I reserved two rooms at the con rate only to be told the con rate was sold out for the last night of the con. What? Really? Fine. All of us will just pile into one room on Monday night.)
Now. Since I thought there were additional rooms available at the con rate I could simply modify my existing reservation for the two rooms with a check out on Tuesday morning.
Nope! Can't do that!
Why? Glad you asked.
The only rooms available Monday night at the con rate were for one king size bed. The hotel did not really care that there would be three people attempting to share that one bed.
I am very pissed off right now. One, that not enough rooms were blocked off at the beginning to insure that people flying from parts unknown could stay the entire convention, and two, that the additional rooms made available are with one f~@%ing bed.
This sort of experience makes a guy really consider not going to future PaizoCons if this is the norm.

Totally understand your frustration. However, Paizo is good people and I'm suspect they will look into this and see if they can help at all. It might be something they have some control over, or it might be something the hotel did completely on their own.
I would stand by and see if the Paizo folks contact you before getting too worked up just yet (not that I blame you for being miffed at the hotel!)
