I also picked up a refurbished Surface Pro 2, so now I can take HeroLab to the table and use all those handy GM functions!
(And, you know, handy at Society as well. Yes I have all my official PDFs on it too.)
Hmmmm, I'm getting an error when I try to import anything, says I don't have the required package, but doesn't tell me what that package is....
Well, it's getting late, I'll worry about it tomorrow.
Looks like it's license issue re: my aforementioned Surface tablet. Of course, it's now working on the desktop, but not on the tablet, which is what I need working for this weekend. But, I've emailed them via the early reactivation button, so hopefully I'll be up in running before then!
And, it all appears to be working now, on both my Desktop and my Surface!!
And, I cannot wait to use it this weekend! I actually bought HL years ago with the intention of using it as DM, but my little netbook couldn't hardly run it, and it's poor resolution made it hard to use anyway. So, it will be nice to finally get to bring the Full Power of this armed and operational Fantasy Role Playing Digital Accessory to the table!
Otherwise, yes the HL Hell's Vengeance encounter library is awesome!
