Mana Wastes Canon

Adventures

I'm trying to flesh out the Mana Wastes and Alkenstar. I've run into some inconsistencies between "Guns of Alkenstar", the novella Ed Greenwood wrote, the "Inner Sea World Guide" map of the region, and the background information presented in the module "Wardens of the Reborn Forge".

What is Paizo's policy regarding canon precedence?

I would probably go with ISWG, then Wardens, then Guns of Alkenstar. What type of inconsistencies did you notice?

I've seen other posts that say something to the effect of the novels having their own creative license and do not take precedence over the game material.

I am doing the same thing for a mana wastes campaign. There are a lot of in inconsistencies I am using the warden of the reborn forge more then anything elses. But I would like to know how long the Bridge of the Gods is.

Clearly this means we need a Mana Wastes campaign setting book.

Yeah, I think ISWG is canon, and Wardens of the Reborn forge should (SHOULD) adhere to that. The novels are like a campaign being run in Golarion: the GM (author) makes the changes needed for the story they're telling, but what happens in that campaign won't necessarily affect what happens in any other GM's campaign.

Yes, please.
