no, because the feat's prerequisite is to have the slayer talent class feature, which you don't before lvl 2.

No. They do not have the Slayer Talent class ability at level 1, so they do not meet the requirement for the Extra Slayer Talent feat.

Yep. No Trapfinding before level 2 via that route by the rules.

That said, I'd allow a player to take that Feat in a heartbeat. I'd even allow them to retrain it for free at 2nd if they wanted.

Trapfinding just isn't that big a deal.

Trapfinding is not necessary to find traps!

But it only enables you to disarm magical traps, which you shouldnt encounter anyway at 1st level. Finding traps is only based on perception. And anybody with Disable Device can try to disable mechanical traps.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon your point of view), Rules As Written, you can't take the aforementioned Mummy's Mask Campaign Trait in Shattered Star.
