Sovereign Court

Mine is Moorhuhna (don't ask) a Harpy ranger. The party tore down her nest and the sorcerer incinerated it, killing three of her children that were inside. He regretted it, because he didn't think there was anything in the nest. But what he, and the entire party regretted more was their mom. Who, after she found out, payed a lot of money to find who killed her young, and decided to kill them.

Their first combat was terrible for the party. She was heavily prepared for the combat, and took the sorcerer down in a single full attack. The rest of the party scampered about and fired what ranged weapons they had at her, hurting her enough to get physical. So she switched to her greatsword and did several flyby attacks gravely wounding the fighter and dropping the rogue to near death in negatives. Fighter then readied a counter attack and critically hit her, reducing her to single digit hit points. She then dropped the flashbang and escaped.

After that, she began hounding the party all the time, so much so that the sorcerer got a vest with a DR against arrows and everyone had a ranged weapon with them at all times.

In the end the sorcerer killed her with a well timed critical with the scorching ray.

I still use her stats from time to time.

Moorhuhna fights dirty. Once spotting her prey, she will gulp down all of the potions that give her an edge in combat, but she will wait to apply an oil. She will then peg her target from as far away as possible and still staying in range. She will wait a single round to get a full attack. If she takes 20+ damage from ranged attacks, she will switch to her greatsword, apply the oil and charge doing flyby attacks. If her target is the wizard who killed her children, she will fight until death. If not, she will drop a flashbang and escape in the ensuing chaos.

My favourite NPC was actually a pair of NPCs. Imagine the gophers from the classic Looney Tunes, but as a pair of Tremere (magic blood wizard) vampires. They were obsequious to a fault, and frequently dialogued with each other, often using the word "indubitably".

Sadly, they were eventually destroyed when a werewolf player decided to lead a massive attack in a convoluted effort to help a vampire player.

Their legacy lives on in that indubitably is the immediate response of choice for facetious agreement in my group.

My favorite NPC was this little old lady that work at a dockyard boarding house. The PCs where investigating something, and this was in front of the location. I made her loud, stupid with a tremedously silly accent and a couple of PCs wanted to hire her after the interaction...

Sovereign Court

Yeah. Got Me :D

Have many from over the years...

Torch, from Pathfinder Society scenarios.

My character, a less than average social barbarian and member of the Grand Lodge has no reason to like or trust the guy, but he's doing the *one thing* that my barbarian can 'get behind' which is *taking a bath* during downtime.

Truth in writing, I think it's ironic that for all the dirty-dealing he's part of, allegedly or not, he's the only one I've seen thus far that actually CLEANS himself. On camera, even!

Huge Carrion Crown spoiler, reveal at your own risk! Seriously, I warned you!!!:
The Beast of Lepidstadt. Loved, loved the beast! Finding out that he had tried to learn an entire book of Taldan poetry just to be accepted by normal people brought tears to my eyes. My PC ended up hugging the big boy.
