Mutagen Warrior + Parasitic Twin?!

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Just a quick question, i was looking at the Mutagen Warrior Fighter archetype, and I saw it got Discoveries at lvl 7 & 11.

Is it possible for the Mutagen Warrior to get the Parasitic Twin discovery at lvl 11, after taking Vestigal Arm a second time and applying the 11th lvl Feat to "Extra Discovery"?

I was thinking of doing this, if possible, for my fighter to withstand various Will saves in the Emerald Spire.

You can take extra discovery and take vestigial arm twice, but parasitic twin does not seem to be on the list so they cannot take that one.

For a fun combo, take mutation warrior and Eldritch Guardian and get a Mauler familiar. Mutagen can be used via the Share Spells feature. Give familiar mutagen and laugh as your cat/goat/etc goes from a harmless animal to a horrific beast. It also gets your combat feats due to the archetype.

Also, Eldritch Guardian gives bonuses versus mind-affecting effects, which would help. Play half-elf for dual-mind and you could have a *very* nice will save against most things. You know, for a fighter.

Not to mention Martial Master(name might be wrong) stacks with both those archetypes and synergistically is excellent with a Mauler familiar. Pump those teamwork feats!

Wait, share spells let's you share mutagens? Since when?

The Tumour Familiar can. As far as I know, no other familiar an alchemist can get allows it to use the Share Spell feature.

Huh. I actually did a build based on eldtritch guardian/mutation warrior recently. I was going to base it on getting the familiar to benefit from focused weapon via the advanced weapons training feat. If I can't argue for the familiar to benefit though, this makes for an interesting alternative.

The idea was-
7th level discovery: Vestigial Arm
11th lvl discovery: second vestigial arm
11th lvl feat: Extra Discovery-> Parasitic Twin.

Mutagen Warrior does say I treat my Fighter Level as Alchemist Level to qualify for the Discovery.
"Extra Discovery" just say i need to have the Discovery class feature, and qualify for the discovery i'm choosing.

And unrelated, i was going to make an Eldritch Guardian/Martial Master/Mutagen Warrior "Fighter".
I wanted the Wallaby familiar and just play him off as an Aussie.

You might want to ask your GM if you can take Extra Discovery as its prereq is the Discovery class feature and Mutagen Warriors get Mutagen Discovery. Also he only uses his Fighter level as Alchemist level for certain discoveries.
