The part I have trouble with is the max based of of wisdom. Pain is based off of CHA not WIS. why would I need 3 stats to play this (INT>CHA>WIS). Is this a miss print?

I recall a developer note that pain was originally wisdom based and then got switched to charisma. This is almost certainly an editing error missed during the switch.

Having difficulty finding anything that states that is the case. Sounds like errata to me, and I hope this is resolved some time before Gencon. I got builds in mind.
