Whatever you want to call it, it's not cool, so let's just leave it out of the thread (and the boards here as well). Thanks!

In support of the Savage Tide or Age of Worms Idea...
Look at James's Avatar!
It screams that he would love to revisit it...
I give it a .002% chance now!
:)
There *are* things in life that some people would not like to do more than once. Especially things that can take up to a year, assuming a pace of one entire evening per week, like clockwork, rain or shine (or snow, or ice storm, or heat wave...)

So, James, has anyone guessed even remotely close to the actual "Super Secret Project" now that there are over 300 posts?
And, yes, I do realize that an affirmative answer will send us into paroxysms of glee and fuel a rabid examination of all the previous posts to see if we can figure out just who and what the correct answer is.
We should set up a betting pool. Someone could get rich with the correct guess. A "Paizo Lottery" if you will. . . .

Not gonna say, other than to confirm that there are multiple projects, some of which I might actually NOT be working on but might be doing a LOT with, and that they're not small things like articles for Strange Aeons or the like.
I can guarantee that some folks who are excited on this thread will be disappointed though, alas. I'm already nervous that it's been blown out of proportion.
I will say this: there's been a few guesses that would be things that I would LOVE to do that I simply don't think I'll ever GET to do.

Okay so thinking either a book for the novel series, working on the comics or a module.

You know, as long as it's not one of those ass-backwards Aesops like "you didn't really need to know James Jacobs' secret project, it was inside you all along!" I think I'll be good with whatever it ends up being.

A very politically astute answer. You should run for office. :) . . . Hey, I just figured it out, he's running for President!

"PathFinder'ized"/"D20'ed" Shadowrun and/or Cyberpunk (RPG)?
I won't believe that Pathfinder Modern will ever be a thing, but it sure would help with creation of modern post apocalyptic campaign(I know few players who have been asking about post apocalyptic game) :P
...Huh, I just realized that I have demand for Jacobs' post apocalyptic game on earth idea/project he has mentioned several times :'D Its really hard to find post apocalyptic games for some reason

For my serious guess (and hope).
Game Master Unchained
aka - The James Jacobs guide to running a successful and fun pathfinder game.
An 100% optional book on how to adjudicate and handle some of the trickier areas of running a game where the actual in print rules give taking a bar exam a run for it's money.
Subjects will include:
Traps - how do I run these so they continue to be interesting for my players in a world with the trapfinder talent?
Flying combat - how to handle it
Mounted combat - how to handle it
Time keeping - how to keep it.
15 minute adventures - and how to keep the party from ever doing that
When it's a good idea to break/bend a rule
When it's not a good idea to break/bend a rule
How to run a game with no mini's (rules to ignore/change)
etc.
I would pre-order that book as fast as I could enter my payment information once it was announced.

Reworking the world's economy to use Paizo-provided copper, silver, gold, and platinum pieces as the only currency.
A marketing campaign that finally perfects the dominate wallet spell Paizo has been using on us for years.
Replacing the US presidential voting system with RPG Superstar. "Design a Wondrous Item, Rule A Nation."
Building a real golem to work at the office, so they'll have someone to blame (for everything) than Cosmo.
Convincing the Louvre to dedicate a wing to Wayne Reynolds' Pathfinder artwork.

...Ya, I'd see that movie.

Screw live action. I also vote for a properly done animated series rated R or something... 'cause it won't be complete without Merisiel and Kyra smooching in a bath house together... with or without Valeros peeking.... :P
