So I played Obozaya, a big Vesk soldier. I threatened one villain that I would eat them, and then excrete them out on their floor if they didn’t tell me what I wanted to know.

Good times. Good times

So we killed the Slag Giant Oracle and her cronies...but still no joy about holding this cathedral. I keep wondering if the GM just doesn't want us to have the artifact in Giantslayer...

Sneaky GMs. Whaddaryagonnado?

Does anyone here have a PayPal credit account? If so do you know whether or not the entire balance is due upon closing the account or are the monthly payments still allowed? The website doesn't seem to have an answer for it. If it does I've overlooked it.

The reason I ask is I've run up quite a bill buying things when my depression episodes are at their worst. I bought "Planar Adventures" yesterday and "The Midgard World Book" at 4:30 this morning. I can't seem to get this particular depressive episode under control and I have to do something.

iirc, you can make payments as normal.

Thanks, FD. Though my payments will take nearly three years to dispense with and with interest will actually cost me more that's better than having to come up with the whole shebang at once.

Pathfinder LO Special Edition, Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, PF Special Edition Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Starfinder Superscriber

I gave up credit a decade ago, when I lost my house. Not gonna start up again.

I should have learned my lesson after bankruptcy several years back and really did well for a long time. But then out of the blue PayPal gave me a sizable line of credit that I had never applied for. I've used it to pay household bills, buy my prescriptions, and a few other things when I had no recourse. But I've also abused it pretty badly and now I'm in tight straits again.

Yeah, I am on a tight budget and have been buying stuff for my new living space on credit. I'll only be able to pay the minimum in August and September, but October should free up and I will focus on paying those off before EOY.

Lotsa Soylent on the menu for the rest of the year :)

Ugh, big nope to credit. I didn't even know PayPal offers credit (though it might not be able to do so here because it might fall under EU regulations for banks or something).

I didn't know they did, either. Just one day BAM! There it was.

Not sure it's that I don't trust him...I just keep wondering he read this part of the adventure path as closely as I did...not that my character(s) know but...you know!

Trust, Mush,

Gimme the artifact! :)

The member of our college friend/gaming group that did most of our GM'ing had a real habit of reading the adventure very well.

Then tossing half of it away, re-writing it, and making it awesome! ;P

Ragadolf,

It's not a movable artifact...so not sure the GM HAS to give it to us...

LOL,

I had to cancel my sub right as Giantslayer came out, so I didn't know that.
;P

Immobile artifacts DO make it easier for the GM to control how much effect it has on the campaign I guess? ;)

And I guess the GM doesn't have to 'give' it to you if the PC's don't, actually, FIND it. ;P

Dangit, NOW I wanna read Giantslayer! O_o

Actually, it is 1am here, NOW I wanna go to SLEEP.
I have to open for another orientation session for 7:30am. -_-

Night Treeforters!

It's a good thing, I suppose, that Paizo won't allow PayPal to be used as a payment method. I am definitely going to close out my PayPal account but first I wanted to buy one more thing; Sandy Petersen's "Cthulhu Mythos". I want this book BADLY but I can't find any sellers that take PP. Did I mention I want this book BADLY? I want the hardback, not the .pdf. I'm not really a fan of electronic products as I like the feel of a good book in my greedy little hands.

le sigh.

Rag,

Yes go read Giantslayer. Then we can talk.

Cal,

I've seen the book. I just haven't had the reasoning (YET!) to buy it.

THIS I completely agree with!

Nothing WRONG with PDF versions, I understand they are far easier to travel with for example, (And I confess I do own a few things PDF) But I myself far prefer the paper version. :)

And I am not happy that Paizo doesn't support PayPal preventing me from making from making purchases directly. Ah, well, I can always spend all my PayPal-money on computer games.

Ummm, DMCal, Petersen Games only charges $5 for shipping, and they appear to take all of the standard credit cards. I suggest getting a PayPal MasterCard and using that to get the book from them.

I was zorched nearly 70 bucks pre-ordering this from Paizo, and it doesn't come with the PDF as a bonus.

Wow. I did look at Petersen games and it was more expensive than the Paizo offering, at least on the surface. I'll go back and look at it again. Thanks, Comrade!

I'm just getting mine once my next batch of summer clients clears out after August 12th.

Did some PayPal finagling with a friend and got it for $40 at Amazon.

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

Hi, everyone!

Hey, John!

Well, got my copy of "Planar Adventures" today. Was actually a little sad that this will be the last PF1e release that I have any interest in. I think I got a little verklempt at times.

On the other hand "The Cthulhu Mythos" book arrives Saturday. Pretty excited about that. My "Midgard World Book" will be here next week. Then my binging is over. I'm closing out PayPal for good.

I'm still hopeful there might be SOME kind of PF1 in 2019...but not sure.

Also I am sure; I'm DONE with this 2 week thing. Well mostly I'm done. I have to go take care of the dog TWICE (maybe three times) before her owner returns. Course I now have clients with cat(s) that will go up to THREE clients with cat(s) on Saturday...but hopefully by then I'll be able to recoup some lost sleep.

Sweet!

Getting up in a little more than three hours. Of course I woke up multiple times after some unsteady sleepy. Now I have a mild headache encroaching. Back to bed in minutes, I think.

Sleep well, Drejk!

I dunno if it's because I had Death By Chocolate...I still have this slightly inane notion I should clean my client's house...even though I don't stay there. (I do that when I have stayed over for other clients...) or just the fact I'm on that border between insanity and seeing Cthulhu...But why am I not asleep yet?!!

*yawn* Up for the next ten or so hours...

Happy Friday all!

Well, I just consigned myself to eating ramen noodles until next month. On the plus side I’m going to a concert tonight. Greta Van Fleet. I need a night out

I am sort of in the same boat, except mine was for getting my Cisco CCNa stuff. The hardcover book, another book, a lab book, an online video course, plus some other stuff for the Comptia A+ certification. None of them are really expensive, but they add up after a while.

Oh, and enjoy the concert!

I am very excited about this. Sadly, I don't have cable nor can afford to stream the Disney Channel, so I will have to wait a long, long time before I see it.

Silver Crusade

Evening all. What did I miss?

Getting another tumor headache, and nausea. And now my fingers hurt. *Stupid Arthritis* How are you?

Hey, CH!

John, I'm really sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I'm developing pretty severe arthritis in my knee. Right now it's managed by a super powerful steroid shot, so it's not too bad. But I don't think I knew you had a tumor you have to deal with.
