Nope. Definitely not that.
And it hasn't been calibrated to cause secret transfers of $10 a week into the Pugwampi Retirement Fund in the Cayman Islands. No sir, that's just your imagination firing from the haze from the pain.

That, sir, is excellent.

Thanks, Sharoth! He's pretty excited, though he has to gripe about something no matter how good it is.. lol.. they're not getting paid for it but they're getting exposure to over 10,000 people. Not bad for a band that plays in bars throughout the south and even up into parts of the midwest. In 3 and a half years they've played nearly 500 shows. They've worked pretty hard for this.

I have a feeling that my dogs think that I only exist to spoil them. Food, water, treats, walks, pets and hugs. Wow. I did not realize that our roles have been reversed. I am my dogs pet? great...
Are you sure you don't actually have a couple cats stacked on top of each other in a canine trenchcoat? Vincent Adultdog?
Wait, I seem to remember you also have cats... are you sure your cats aren't mind controlling your dogs?

At 7 PM Central Time tomorrow my son's band opens for Bon Jovi in North Little Rock's Verizon Arena. I've mentioned it before in this thread, but I'm pretty excited so here it is again.
DeFrance, the band in which my son plays bass, absolutely killed it last night at the concert. They were tight, professional, and entertaining. I'm a very proud dad today. Oh, and Bon Jovi played after, but I didn't care so much about that.. lol

I feel like hammered poop. Anxiety attacks laid upon a stomach virus make for a very bad afternoon. I need to work on this weekend's game, specifically to roll up the bad guy but I feel to weak to pick up a d20 lol. If anyone has a 7th level Gifted Blade Soulknife lying around I'd love to borrow it.

Very cool stuff ... think I am going to use this in a current campaign I am running.

I managed to get my foe for this weekend's game created. It took 3 hours because of the way I felt but I did it. I'm going for a young Darth Vader vibe, evil and scary with a growing reputation enforcing the wishes of the rulers of the largest empire in my setting. He is a Soulknife with the Gifted Blade Archetype. I even made his mindblade bright red, just for effect. I plan to make him a recurring villain and I made him 2 levels higher than the highest level characters in the the party. Sure, they could take him if they ganged up on him, but I have it set up that if they encounter him they won't have the space to do that. After this weekend I'll roll up his cohorts, a Hunter and a Psion. Together they will pursue the PCs as they both adventure and try to escape his grasp at the same time.
So yeah. I did that.

Nice Cal. Any chance you can link a PC build? I'm always interested in seeing how others (meaning, people who know what they are doing) build PC's/NPC's. :)

On a funny, related, note, I once had a friend in a game of D6 Star Wars running around with all new PC's. So basically 1st level.
Only the first 3 films and the Marvel comics were out at this time, so we didn't have as much to draw from for villains as we do now. ;P
As they are sneaking/fighting/escaping their way through a space station for whatever purpose the Rebels had sent them there, they heard a sound coming from around the corner. The GM made the very distinct sound of Darth Vader's breathing mask. Nobody dared to look around the corner.
The young jedi -wannabe, being noble, said he would fight Vader and hold him off long enough for the others to escape. He leapt around the corner, ready to fight, and expecting to die,...
And there was a loose vent cover hanging on the wall, making wheezing noises as the air system circulated air,...
Everyone groaned and moaned, threw things at the GM, and agreed it was the best NON-fight encounter they had ever had. The GM really sold it. :)

I love it when stuff like that happens.. LOL I had a lot of dice thrown at me once when the the players realized the creatures I was describing were Sleestaks and they were in The Land of the Lost.
I'm not 100% sure I know what I'm doing when it comes to building PCs, but if I knew how to post a link to the build I would be happy to.
EDIT: I know how to post links to things like my Google Drive, but the new forum setup won't let me. I can write it out like it shows behind the text formatting button but it won't create the link. It's a problem I've had since the overhaul of the Pathfinder forums.

Cal, in Google drive, press "create shareable link for each document. Then put it in a url link here on the boards, one at a time. Or, if you want, paste the raw links onto a new post, and I'll create the links. Whichever you want is fine.
DungeonmasterCal |
Put it up. The worst people can do is ask for clarifications and explanations. :)
Ok, here's the uncooked link. The new forum formatting won't let me create a link, so if you can that's good.
And remember, this is a heavily houseruled, homebrewed sheet. A lot may not make much sense to the casual reader, but I'll try to answer questions you may have.

It's time for a new feature I'd like to call Aunty Amby's Seemingly Obvious Advice for the Seemingly Oblivious.
Last month, someone new started doing it. Which, well, not much I could do about it except keep unsubscribing from the notifications and adding the senders to my block list. But then she signed up to a drugstore account, and I started getting her prescription notifications. (?!) And then I started getting statements from her ISP. (?!) I double-checked my Google account settings to verify that yes, no one else had been logging into my account. So, what the hell: I used the "lost my password" link at the bottom of each, they sent me a reset link to my email, I picked a new password, and viola! - I'm logged in to both of them. I know her full name, her street address, her accounts info, her freaking medications, her GP doctor, her landline and cell numbers... everything. Now knowing her cellphone number, I sent her an SMS text briefly explaining I was getting her emails and to kindly stop sending them to my email address (which I included). No response.
Friday, I started getting a couple new emails from a couple stupid cellphone games she must be playing. Today, I got an email from her bank saying they were express UPS'ing her a new debit card. Enough.
I called her up a half hour ago, politely told her who I was way down in FL, and that I'm getting her emails with confidential info in them. She said no (a bit rudely), that was her email address. I told her no, I'm looking at the emails, and I've had this email account for a decade now. No, she said (more rudely), she had the account for several years and it was her account. I told her bluntly I don't care what she thinks is happening, I know about her drug store account, her ISP account, and her new debit card because they all sent emails to MY EMAIL ADDRESS. Oh sh!t, she says. I told her I don't care how this started happening, but she should change her accounts info to a different email address if she doesn't want them coming to me.
The moral of this story is: Sure, set up a junk/disposable email account to forward possible spam and junk offers to. That's prudent. But don't sign up your confidential accounts using someone else's actual email address.
