Crabs are good. Not being able to decide if running CotCT, Mummy's Mask or Strange Aeons while weighing them out for potential players that include a 14 year old girl with not roleplaying game experience...less so.
Of the three I believe the first Book of MM is more of a classic dungeon crawl tomb trap so I might go with that one if you want a traditional feel, if she is a social butterfly type then CoCT may be better. Strange Aeons I run and it's pretty creepy cool so if she likes the Horror genre then there's your best bet.
Experienced players will be happy to play anything to get the Table Top "high" :-)

There's an 11 year old in my group. She's the daughter of the player I've been with since about 1986. I do sort of turn things down to PG-13 when she plays, but aside from the typical easily distracted tween that she is a pretty good player.

Hirudophagus, a creepy aberration for horror adult movies. CY nudity is to be blamed for this.

I apologize for my lengthy absence. I was minding my own business when I was netted and sold to an organ grinder in Minsk who attempted to train me to dance for rubles. I bided my time and fished the keys to my chain from his pants while he was passed out from too much home brew vodka. I hitched a ride on the Tran-Siberian rail, stowed away on a freighter in Vladivostok, hitched my way from Long Beah to DC. What an adventure! And I’m leaving out the one-armed pachinko player and the smoking man.

Well, perhaps some day I’ll tell you the further adventures. It would take far too long to delve into the many characters I met along the way: Ferdinand Tepesh-Fugger III, the pretender to the Wallachian throne, August Kalienko, noted Theremin composer and darling of the New Yakutsk Movement , Annabel Groot, cryptobotanical field agent. You meet a lot of interesting people on the Eurasian Plains.

Wow. That was SO much more exciting than MY week. O_O
I just worked on yet another 'too-big for the space' show, (Hunchback with huge sets) and tried to keep the sound guy from blowing up my friggin sound system. :P
So, yeah it was a normal week. NOT like the trans-Siberian express adventure the Monkey had! :)
(Although, there were certainly a few 'characters' I met too) :P
On a lighter note, today is my 32nd-20th birthday (20 was a VERY good year, I see no reason to leave it behind) ;)
So, Yay me?!? :)
Time to go see if the store has any meat on sale I can grill tonight,...
Mmmm, meat! :D
Happy Monday Treeforters!

My exciting weekend: stayed at home, tried to do housework, vacuum cleaner decided not to work. Mom fixed it. (Stupid pine needles) Spent yesterday evening from 8 until 3 am watching other peoples children so that my friend could watch his without feeling overwhelmed. Helped one child that was having nightmares out with a story about the Nightmare fairy and Merlin. Then did some soft singing before she felt safe enough to go to bed. Didn't really sleep but did go toward twilight state. Came home, saw the Eagles had won, cheered myself to sleep.

I've decided to name this week "The week that I don't have to care for more than one set of dogs" At least so far. Yesterday my newest clients whom I've known personally for a goodly while, had me walking their dogs because the older one (a beagle of 10+ years) needs to be outside more often due to medication making her (the dog) need to go out more. Yesterday their furnace died so they stayed home. Today, my other client who technically I consider my first real paying long term client, had their sub pump die and thus the husband stayed home with their dogs.
So in all, I've not had to run around as much yesterday and today not as much either.
This keeps up, I might be able to nap from 2 until 4. :P ;)

Thx all!
My home birthday dinner was Instant pot pork steak and gravy, over mashed cauliflower. (Yeah I know, its not potatoes, but once covered in GRAVY, who cares?!?) :)
Dessert was low-carb chocolate doughnut, with a scoop of low-carb ice cream on top.
I'm almost cheating, but not really! :)
And yay Silver Rose! We're back bay-bay! ;)

There’s still a whole month of the Kickstarter if you’re wanting to nab a copy ^w^For those who would be interested in awesome erotic art my buddy REv just launched a Kickstarter to be able to do a hardcover print run of his comic, I Roved Out (link kinda NSFW).
The comic itself is up for free online if you'd like to read it, this Kickstarter is solely for the Hardcover (the comic is VERY Not Safe For Work, in a good way ^w^).
Forgot to post over here :3

So one of my friend's has just gotten divorced from his wife of 10 years. They have two kids. Now understand, these are nice people with different personalities. I think. Anyways, the point is my friend wants to do something on the weekends, like board games. He will only have the kids every other week and considering he's a night owl anyway, they'll be asleep for some of what we do. (I think!) So...I guess: should I run Strange Aeons for him? (Most of his tabletop experience is with older D&D editions and Pallidum games.)
Thoughts?
