It's not nitpicking. It's curiosity on why it is.
Because Will Smith wanted it that way? Or because the costume designer found it looked better on camera? Why does it matter?

Why does someone asking a question bother you so much?

Sovereign Court

Because it is a pointless thing to be bothered with or actually discuss it like it merits some sort of importance to the overall film experience.

More pointless than b&$@+ing about someine asking an idle question?

You must be fun at parties.

"So why do you think Sharon always wears those rainbow berets?"

"Why does it bother you? Why ask such a pointless question? Stop talking!"

Not a fan... very flakey. And quel suprise Will Smith is still playing the FPOB!

Hated what they did with the Joker....

FPOB?

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The role that he plays in everything he's in, essentially.

I think he's been out of his Fresh Prince phase for a while (the last role I remember that was him like that was Men In Black/2/3).

What he plays in almost every action movie is his character from Independence Day, which is slightly different. Very slightly, but different.

Avatar,

Maybe but I still think the plot helped.

The two are intertwined. An R rating would have allowed the villains of the movie to behave like villains (re: We're bad guys. It's what we do).

Also, Enchantress wasn't exactly the kind of mission you send a group like the suicide squad on. They needed more ocean's eleven (or dirty dozen) than fist flying action. Tag the liberties you can take with an R rating on to that and you've got a bunch of bad guys worth watching.

P.S. You think they'll give us a scene explaining the stuffed unicorn on the blu-ray release??

Avatar,

I don't disagree. They shouldn't have used Enchantress. That's more JL Dark or something. I'd much rather they had to fight someone that had diplomatic immunity, like say Bane with a nuclear warhead.

Ooooh that would be good. The squad (and just the squad) having to retrieve the McGuffin from Santa Prisca. Fair amount of outdoor scenes leading up to the prison, where you get nice and claustrophobic.

Plus it would allow Bane to be shown in 'evil Doc Savage mode' and reverse some villain decay.

Matthew,

Well I figure people don't need to get TOO deep into Bane to understand him. Especially since we've had The Dark Knight Rises a while back.

Plus Ra's I'd prefer we save for something a little more...global.
