Ring of Force Shield, does it do any more than provide a shield AC bonus?

Is there anything unique about a shield of force other than it can provide +2 AC without problem for arcane caster and not waste a hand too much because it is activated as a free action?

I get the value of this, and that it stacks nicely with other AC bonuses, but I was just checking if had extra effects based on being a force shield?

Incorporeal touch attacks ignore normal armor and shields, but ARE affected by force effects. Thus the mage armor spell applies, even though it is an armor bonus, and the shield spell or ring of force shield applies, even though it is a shield bonus.

Regular touch attacks are unaffected.

Scarab Sages

It also lets you shield bash incorporeal creatures without ghost touch. It's you to the GM if it standard bludgeoning damage or force damage though.

I don't believe there are any extra bits to it.

Nope. That's about it.

Scarab Sages

It's wielded as a heavy shield, so you can bash with it. Since it's a force effect, it will bypass DR and affect incorporeal.

It counts as a force effect (as it's a literal Wall of Force), so it helps against incorporeal creatures.

You cannot TWF with it active (unless the shied is one of the weapons).

What stops you from using a non-hand weapon like an unarmed strike, boulder helmet or blade boots in addition to a hand weapon? Sword-kick, blade boot/helmet, kick-helmet?
