need a character for wrath of the rightous

Advice

hello recently my character died in wrath of the rightous and for religouse reasons he decided not to come back so now im making a new character for the game wrath of the rightous. my party is as follows.

cleric, palladin, ranger, wizard, bard. all lvl 7 so everything is covered.

my plans are a tiefling who worships desna and i was wondering what would be best at helping this party and surviving to end game?

An Alchemist could be a nice Jack of all trades for this party.

You could play a commoner with mythic ranks and just roll that way

Big dog style. wrath is so easy you should be fine with any class

Yeah, you can pretty much play whatever you want at this point. Do you have a certain theme in mind? Also, what sources are you able to use?

Liberty's Edge

An Inquisitor is pretty good all around, and would have an easy time fitting into WotR.

the tiefling is going to be raised by humans and is a prisoner of war to the demons once freed he will join the party other than worshipping desna im going to build his backstory around his class as for sources i cant use iron gods 3rd party and no 3.5 also psions are iffy

Inquisitor is always a good way to go. Demonspawn tieflings make phenomenal natural attack based bloodragers; Abyssal bloodline with the Rageshaper archetype. It's pretty thematically appropriate to WotR.

Only issue is Cold Iron DR... If it interests you, bring it up with your GM and see what they think about ways to overcome the Cold Iron DR issue. You can always get an Amulet of Mighty Fists with the appropriate +# enhancement to bypass the Cold Iron, but I'm not sure which bonus that requires off the top of my head. I think it is +3, but I could off.

a bloodrager tiefling (Demon-Spawn) Abyssal Bloodline with archetype Primalist and Rageshaper. Str>Con>Dex>Cha>Wis>Int Feats: Power Attack; Arcane Strike;Improved Natural Attack (Claws); Blooded Arcane Strike. Traits: berserk of the Society.

Grow one size category larger when raging and attacks with 2 claws for 3d6 (4d6 at 8° level)+ Str + Arcane Strike damage each.

Pick Beast Totem, Lesser and Beat Totem as 8° level Rage Powers; and Beast Totem, Greater and Come and get Me as 12° level Rage Power.

Wish list: Helm of the Mammoth Lord - 8,500 gp; Mammoth Hide (ISC) - 11,665 gp; Belt of Thunderous Charging - 10,000 gp.

I believe it is +3.

Isn't there a feat that lets your natural attacks count as cold iron? I could be wrong and it might be magic and/or silver, though. Still, probably a good homebrew feat.

You're thinking of Eldritch Claws, which is indeed magic and silver. No (official) equivalent for cold iron at this time.

I agree. Do you have more info than:

Quote:

Like how devout to Desna would he be? Full on Priest/Paladin level faith? Or someone that just whispers prayers to her for protection and observes a few minor tenants of the faith.

You can do a LOT with 7th level Mythic characters.

If you want to be natural attacker:
Alchemist
Bloodrager
Synth Summoner

I just saw a lot of people talking natural attack route. I personally would be LESS concerned about DR/ Cold Iron and be more worried about DR/ EPIC (+6 or better to break it)

There are ways to get around DR/ Epic but it is far fewer than Overcoming Cold Iron.

I myself would suggest a Tiefling Magus. You will have both Magic and melee options. Main Archmage and Dual Path Champion. Wild Arcana and Perfect Preparation give you every spell on your list on demand. Grabbing up Mythic Spell Lore you can pick up Choice Mythic Spells. Cherry Pick a few Champion abilities and Legendary Item x3 for your Weapon and you will be absolutely Golden. THis allows you to be a Melee brute and Ranged artillery. Just instead of Firing a Bow your launching Mythic Fireballs/Lightning Bolts/(Insert Favorite spells here).

Let us know a little more info and we can help you out.

Having GMed this AP, I concur with the others that it honestly makes no difference what class you have. 20 levels plus 10 mythic tiers will get through anything.

Since it goes to level 20, what about looking at the capstone abilities for the different classes and find one that intrigues you?

Actually, if you have Combat Stamina, Eldritch Claws does exactly that.

Angelic Flesh is also an option for aasimar characters.

Really? Excellent! (I'm not familiar with most of the Combat Stamina feat upgrades.)

I also forgot about Angelic Flesh, although the racial thing makes it slightly more awkward.
