Samurai Jack was one of the BEST shows I ever saw growing up. I'd put it on par with Gargoyles or Batman:TAS. I am IMMENSELY thrilled to see it returning at long last.

Seriously cool news. Always felt there was more room for stories in the series (or at least a conclusion).

Only bad news, Mako passed away in 2006, so who's going to provide the incredibly evil (but coolish) voice of Aku now?

I don't remember the name, but the guy who took over for Mako as Iroh in Avatar was a pretty close sound-alike. I wouldn't feel too bad hearing him voice Aku.

It's been a while since the first announcement, but I did hear from one guy that season 5 was still slated to begin sometime in August. Has anyone else heard anything to that effect?

Can't speak to when it will be coming out. But I did see the recent release from Adult Swim with a behind the scenes look about where the series will pickup. A couple of notes:

*Looks like it will be a harder, more weary Jack now.
*Aku's voice will be done in the Mako style by a voice double.
*Because it's on Adult Swim, expect more blood. I guess that means not every baddie will be a robot he can slice in two.
