Dave Foley Bot and I have our army of robots.

Next up will either be a quick romp through preachy McJoe canyons or jumping through casino hoops to eventually depose Mr. House.

The only hoop you need to jump through is opening his door and pulling his plug... you can get rid of House more or less the second you're done with Benny.

I meant the other casinos, with a high charisma and Vera's dress I think the weirdos will give me the time of day. :-)

make sure to smack mr.house with a golf club

I still have Delphi's laying around here somewhere...

it is always a fun and satisfying achievement to earn when you give him a good wack

Might just punch him dead, it worked for Benny...

save kill him with the golf club, reload punch him to death, one hit will be all it takes

Pretty impressive, that the thread is over 1,000+ posts. :-)

My longest thread yet, and I didn't even have to tie a Paladin up as bait. :-)

Should Tammy let the Paladin out of the closet then?

You can keep him, Hell's Vengeance will start soon enough.

Frozen tundra and waiting for wife to get ready to go out make Captain Yesterday go something, something...

Tammy the Lich wrote:

No thanks, already let myself out. Punch House lots for me.

More where you came from, Paladins are everywhere these days.

Note to self: junkies aren't the best people to get to sabotage weapons.

Oopsy doodle!

That guy wasn't going to quit anyway.

I think next go around, I'm going high charisma and intelligence, my lack of strength I'll mitigate with the hoarder perk.

But that's for later.

It's fun how little tweaks here or there can completely change the tone of the story.

Last time I took over because I was somewhat idealistic and wanted everyone (except Caesar) to get along.

This time, I'm taking over myself because everyone else is out to kill me.

Survival of the fittest, and right now, no one else can match my fire power.

Caesar's camp was an awesome time, I went in hot with ED-E and Veronica, had Christine's Rifle equipped, popped some steady, while wearing Ulysses duster and doctor Mobius's glasses (to look smarter) and just started drilling headshots.

When I got to his tent, I burst right in, hit vats as soon as possible, decapitated him with a head shot, his body slumping in his throne, while his bodyguards, stunned, ran forward, only to meet an angry Veronica, and her super heated death punch.

Stupid Minecraft! Why did I get my kids Minecraft!

At least I got my Hell's Rebels books today. :-)

I don't get the Brotherhood angle, what is their deal?

"We're here to hoard technology so the world can't benefit from our own advances... oh, s!%~, we failed!... well surely if we keep at it, eventually we'll succeed...or the world will burn for our efforts..."

Ayup, the NCR and Legion are both sending hit squads after me, I went to visit Joshua Graham loaded down with explosives and my talking armor, which I love more then any other armor.

Isolationist, quasi-religious zealots are more or less immune to common sense.

From where I sit, OOC, the ethical course seems to be serving as the vicious attack dog the Followers of the Apocalypse don't realize they need (I kinda wish you'd had the option of telling Yes-Man that they were in charge now, 'cause by the end, you're usually wading knee-deep in blood).

Of course, the game does a good job of giving us the mostly-saintly-with-the-odd-dash-of-cover-up-murder Followers on one end of the spectrum, and the "just kill them already" Fiends on the other.

Jeez, i take a week off, and the tumbleweeds move in. :-D

It's your thread, bubba!

Ha! Stupid a*~%%*$ White Leg dumb f$!!s.

yeah they are annoying, i wipe them out every-time i run that dlc

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I only ever DIDN'T wipe them out once (for completeness' sake)

They've got no redeeming traits anywhere to make sparing them seem like a good idea.

The chunk of Zion they control is a trash-littered sign of what they'll do to the only NICE piece of real estate the Courier ever visits.

When I have Salt-Upon Wounds get spared, it's mostly out of deference to the Father in the Caves, who wouldn't want his children to become such a hostile bunch.

The White Legs are actually my only real disappointment in Honest Hearts...I think they needed a chance to show a scrap of humanity, because as things stand, they're even less sympathetic than the Legion.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

I'm not sure how to not wipe them out, for whatever reason, I get tunnel vision or whatever, and when I wake up, Daniel is pissed and Joshua is saying "I told you so"

See? There are shades of gray. At least the Legion has some redeeming qualities. (Still evil, but I like my evil somewhat ambiguous.)

Waking Cloud's outfit is hilarious, I gave her a ranger hat, some sunglasses and leather armor, and she's wearing all of it. :-)

I gave Boone the space helmet. You want to see hilarious, do that. Big old bald head in that dome!

I'm surprised no one has made a Fallout Fashion Montage for YouTube yet.

I never really got the humor of or properly understood THIS until I wasn't paying attention and gave Boone the spacesuit and helmet to carry...

I get even more annoyed when they choose garbage gear.

Arcade, why do you ignore my reinforced Mark 2 combat helmet and wear a recruit hood? Wtf dude?!

Oh man, dress-up the Companions is one of the BEST sub-games.

Cassidy gets the Assassin Suit (when I put myself through Dead Money) and a Breathing Mask (I leave the silly hats to Raul)

Boone, by virtue of being Boone, ends up carrying my NCR disguises- er... wearing the uniform of his Trusted and Valued army.

Veronica and Arcade get power armor- especially since they can often use it before I can! But they also often end up in the space suit, in honor of their channeling the more "goofball sci-fi" end of Fallout.

Raul gets silly hats.

I'm back! Or something.

Yes, after an extended hiatus, I was finally able to rampage. :-)

I'm still plugging away at the mount Zion DLC, which is actually fairly boring to me, I know a lot of people like it, and it's got a cool backstory and everything, but overall there's not a lot going on, can't wait to be rid of the place.

It might be, that being 40th level might affect my opinion, but it was fairly boring my first time at 15th level, so...

Still good to be back rampaging, totally cleared out one of the camps by sneaking atop a bluff, switching to high explosive rockets, and then just started blasting. There's advantages to packing 500+ rockets, kinda miss Annabelle, but couldn't take everyone with, for some reason.

Finally finished Honest Hearts the other day (gotta agree with everyone else here, the White Legs had to go) and started on Old World Blues earlier. Maybe it's because I have an odd sense of humor but I'm really enjoying this one so far :D

My thing with Old World Blues, once again, is that it feels like a tonal mismatch with New Vegas.

If it were a Fallout 3 dealie, I'd.... have a reason to play Fallout 3 again...

I took a break from NV, because Skyrim isn't gonna save itself.

Currently I'm serving as coach to my wife as she plays NV. Currently in Big MT, playing a VATS sniper, and she just got Christine's rifle.

She loves it.

Just need to finish Big MT up so she can buy the perception implant for the prerequisites to Better Criticals, but in the meantime she's got Miss Fortune and Mysterious Stranger to fill the level gap with perks, along with Action Girl a couple times, Math Wrath, Hand Loading, Finesse...combined with Built to Destroy and Kamikaze, few enemies can withstand her full VATS wrath!

I tried to get into Skyrim, it's pretty good, but doesn't really grab me much.

I really liked Old World Blues when I was done with it.

Skyrim, to me, is the best videogame ever made. I love Fallout's universe more, but Bethesda seems to put more effort into TES games. TES6 WILL cause me to buy a PS4.

Skyrim was/is probably the game I've spent the most hours playing after Civ3.

Like 2000+ hours on Skyrim.

It might be my 2 years trying to get above 6th level have colored my opinion of it. :-)

Of course, once I started a thread here and figured out what I was doing wrong (everything) my opinion has improved, not enough to put it above Fallout 3 or New Vegas, but certainly it moved above Red Dead Redemption (how, how can you not ride a cow or buffalo in RDR! Do rodeos not exist in Mexico?).

WHAT?

I have a character I've played for a week...a WEEK...level 54.

You can't leave the first dungeon without being level two!

Getting through Bleak Falls Barrow alone should have you at level five.

I'm with Niles - I have spent more hours in Skyrim than with my extended family. I know more about Talos than all my aunts and uncles combined.

I do know how to milk the leveling system, though. Sneaks can level up fast because you can train a skill and pickpocket your gold back, and I craft so much I should open a shop, and that will level you FAST.

Like I said, I was doing EVERYTHING wrong, and I mean EVERYTHING. :-)

As far as why so long, if a video game is too frustrating, it often sits, for a long, long time. The only reason I have it a go, was I was broke as s@~*, and played thru Fallout 3 four times in a row (only the second game I've beaten more then once) with no prospects of getting New Vegas for months.

I put it aside as soon as I got New Vegas.

I'll check to see where I am in it, I know it's at some point after finding out the Greybeards were with that one Dragon (called it from the start).

If I would have to rate the Fallout games and Skyrim, this is how it would look...

Fallout - NV
Skyrim
Fallout 3
Fallout 4

You didn't even mention the Oblivion Hates one at all.

*ducks*

Edit: I tried to type "gates" the phone thought differently, I'll leave it. :-)

~shrugs~ I have not played Oblivion or any of the other TES games EXCEPT Skyrim.
