Rebuild and full sell back?

Is there a good place to check to see if rebuilds are allowed for certain errata or FAQ that affect a character I have?

As an example I have a Maneuver Master Monk that I purchased a Mithral Chain Shirt with prior to the errata disallowing them using Flurry of Maneuvers. During character creation I had really been counting on being able to use that armor to get my AC to a reasonable level. The character has a fairly low Dex and Wis. I also had been counting on getting the Brawling enchantment but that is now a bust as well.

So, I am trying to salvage the character at this point. The questions I have basically amount to:

1. Can I sell back the Mithral Chain Shirt at full value?

2. Am I allowed a character rebuild basically to fix my stat array so I don't have such a lousy unarmored AC?

From the post listing how to handle the errata in PFS

Quote:

The maneuver master monk archetype cannot use flurry of maneuvers when wearing armor or using a shield.

Sell back any armor or shield at full price. Retrain any levels in the monk class, if desired.

Your armor can be sold at full price.

There's not a retrain option for base ability scores at all, let alone for this errata, so I'd say no on that part unfortunately.

That truly is unfortunate as I would assume most people had based ability scores around being able to be armored.

So that link is for a thread for only a single books errata. Is there not a place to look for how to handle errata from all sources?

I've only ever seen PFS errata info as one off posts for the product it applies to. The link above, and the Unchained PFS blog post. I'm sure there were others, but I'm sure you'd have to find a post or blog for each individual product with errata, and it would have to had to have been errata'd after the build was made of course.

I think the retraining of levels is their way of handling things like ability scores. Basically "Stats don't work for a monk? Well, you can always switch classes".

I could be wrong on the ability scores, but based on what I can find that's how it is.

As John said at the link mentioned above:

"Check the current playtest and errata rules on page 29 of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide."

The Morphling: I did. You will notice that my question was not answered by the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide.

How do I take care of the selling of this equipment by the way? I GMed the last scenario that I applied a chronicle to the character for. Should I just note it there and sign it myself?

Since the inventory tracking sheet DMs are kind of removed from the whole buying and selling process anyway.

Oh. I still see buying and selling tracked on chronicle sheets. Is that incorrect?

Also, for the errata based selling is that tracked the same way? Is it all honor system basically?

It should be on both the chronicle and the ITS.

Just put some sort of note on the chornicle when you sell it, noting that you got full price for the item (instead of half) due to errata.

you might look into getting a wand of Mage Armor... and a couple potions for when you don't have someone in the party that can cast it (or UMD it for you).

There are even a few times the spell is better than actual armor...

Already on top of that. My son is playing a half elf sorcerer with the trait that allows his wands to cast at +1 caster level. Can't get Brawling or other enchantments on Mage Armor though.

I think you can put it on Bracers of Armor...I think. And there may be other ways...

Later you might get a Pearl of Power (or the thing like it for Sorcerers)... So that it lasts all day

While you can normally add most magical armor special abilities to Bracers of Armor. Brawling can only be added to light armor, and Bracers of Armor are not classified as light armor.
