Hi everyone,
1.) I'd like to increase the damage my Halfling ranger does with his bow. He currently has a +1 composite longbow (strength rating 1). A standard hit does 1d6+2 damage, or 1d6+3 using Point-blank Shot. I'd like to do something that increases damage for as many creatures as possible (that is, not a weapon ability like flaming that some creatures might have resistance against).
2.) His favored terrain is underground, which I'm happy with. However, as a Halfling, he has no way to see underground without using a light source. Is there a way to get him the Darkvision ability without dropping thousands of gold pieces on a magic item?
Thanks!
(By the way, he's a PFS character, if that makes any difference.)

Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim, and Manyshot are all feats that'll help boost up your damage, in addition to further increasing your strength with better and better composite bows.

Thanks for the advice, Nargemn and Fruian. He has Rapid Shot, and Manyshot will be available at 6th level, so I've made a note of that. Deadly Aim is a good suggestion as well, so I'll pick that up at 5th level (2 more scenarios away).
He also has access to the Gravity Bow spell, so that will help. The belt may not be his best choice given the cost, but Bracers of Falcon Aim are definitely intriguing.
Does anyone have any ideas for gaining Darkvision, or some other / equivalent method of seeing in the dark?
Thanks!

Off the top of my head, a 2-level dip into the shadowdancer prestige class grants darkvision. Rangers also gain darkvision as a 3rd level spell (10th level ranger). If you don't want to wait that long, you could pick up a wand of darkvision with 50 charges for 4,500 gp (equaling out to 90 gp per casting), or if you don't want to spend such a large sum, potions of darkvision will run for 300 gp per potion. I'm sure you can purchase these with PFS prestige somehow, though I'm not extensively familiar with PFS or it's systems.

Note that Bracers of Falcon Aim are not legal for PFS play.
Darkvision will be tough to get consistently, until you can cast the 3rd-level ranger spell. You can start with scrolls: 150 gp each; or spend 2 prestige to get 1 scroll with 5 copies of it (lasting 3 hours per casting), although initially you will need a check to read it successfully.
Game on!
