To be completely honest with you, I probably won't bother =P A bit too apathetic about the nuances of linguistics to delve all that deeply into that sort of thing.

Back when I still drank soda regularly, I only drank Coke with meals. For non-meal beverages, I drank Pepsi.

(I think it goes back to my first memories of our family eating out at the local Pizza Hut, which only served Coke. We never had soda in the house into my last year or so in high school. I didn't have enough cash to afford soda on my own, and when I did, the only two machines in the high school were both Pepsi machines.)

Not really my ritual per se...but my cat Floyd has one.

Anytime he jumps in my bed to sleep next to me...he meows(I sometime meow back)...than always lays on my right side.

I do appreciate what he did for penal system reform. Some individuals may not relate or run afoul of the law, but many in society, especially the US, do. That may be one of the reasons that he was and is popular. Not his cover of hurt by NIN.

I tend to separate out people's music and/or acting from their personal activism. Otherwise I'd have to skip all the Mission: Impossible movies, which would be sad, because that last one was really good. Same with Cash -- I'm hugely in favor of prison reform, but still don't like his music.

Bah! You're daft man! No one gives a s+%* about prison reform.

I say hello to every raven I meet while walking.

I whistle back when birds call near me. Sometimes it turns into a conversation.

A family tradition which I uphold is saddling our dogs with loathsome/insulting/inappropriate names or nicknames.

I knock on the hull of any airplane before I board it. (It's not for luck or anything, just something I do)

I name my vehicles and my personal weaponry- usually stupid stuff like "Otis P. Jivefunk, Minister of Culture"(My 1997 Saturn SC I got rid of in 2009)

I thank trees before I cut them down, and animals before I kill them.

I would have to give up Legend, although it might get a pass for being pre-Hubbard honeymoon. I did like Rouge Nation though, agreed.

There used to be a guy on the boards who would pop up in a rage any time someone wrote "rouge" instead of "rogue," and would make all kinds of jokes about women's makeup picking locks, and so on.

I miss him.

We talking makeup?

We better be talking makeup, otherwise, people are getting flayed for it, Fa-layed.

You understand.

Well if you want to talk make up I am sure people won't mind.

Amusingly, I'm not very good with makeup.

It's the awesome fun-time you have after the big argument, right?
