I quite like his approach of staggering the release dates so that early adopters will get their stuff sooner than later pledges. That's a good idea to build momentum at the early stage of a kickstarter (plus it adds to transparency - you'll be able to see him shipping out 30 a month, so long delivery times are more understandable).
Even if it means some people end up not pledging as their delivery date gets pushed further out - I still think the transparency is worth it.

The stretch goals have been increased for larger pledges. Now for every $100 you get an additional one of each stretch goal. Also, discounts for pledges over $100. Some really cool pieces, including mine pieces. For anyone who purchased the Dwarven Forge caverns these pieces will allow you to create a mine adventure.
Also, he is producing everything in house, so I believe the ship dates will be earlier than those listed on the Kickstarter.
