What book do you plan on reading after Liar's Blade?

I would recommend A Soul for Tsing and Deathmask by Chris A Jackson both very good books...though anything by him is very good...those are single books and not part of a larger series.

More movies I forgot earlier.
3:10 to Yuma
Young Guns
Tank Girl
Ghostbusters (both)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
The Basketball Diaries
Palmetto
Natural Born Killers
12 Monkeys
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (tho it's heaviness gets a bit much occasionally)
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures (both)
Public Enemies
Back to the Future (all three)
Pulp Fiction
World War Z (which surprised me, thanks Scruffy)
Clerks and Mallrats

Reign of Stars, we're playing Iron Gods, so it's always nice to get a better understanding of Zernebeth and Redfang.

TV, who watches TV anymore? I stream or get DVDs, I've been doing both for years.

But to answer your question, yes I have an insatiable appetite for TV, so any suggestions are just dandy, just not Netflix, not a fan (for my own reasons).

Archer
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Bob's Burgers
Parks and Recreation
30 Rock
Fargo
Drunk History
Review
The Awesomes
Quickdraw
Difficult People

I'd like to see Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

My wife is actually a huge pathfinder tales fan, and has a ravenous appetite for more, always more.

She really likes the Radovan and Varian books, as well as Chris A. Jackson's Pirate's Promise, and Tim Pratt's books, especially the Liar's ones.

I used to have both Netflix streaming and Amazon Prime.
Every time I wanted to watch either a TV series or a movie, either
a)Both Netflix and Amazon would have it,
b)Amazon would have it on demand, but Netflix would only have it on DVD, c)Amazon would have it on demand, but Netflix wouldn't have it at all, or
d)Neither would have it.

I never encountered a situation where Netflix had something I wanted to watch, but Amazon Prime didn't. They probably do have stuff that Amazon doesn't, but it isn't the kind of stuff I like. Naturally, I stopped getting Netflix.

So many!

I've never bought anything from Starbucks, haven't been inside a Wal-Mart in years, I refuse to ever buy electronics from Best buy, nor do I go to Taco Bell, and let's not forget WotC, because of what they did to forgotten realms for 4th edition, but also for Magic: The Gathering, which I hate so much!

Pretty sure there's more, somewhere.

No, it's not one bad experience, it's gotta add up.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

Best buy for example, my TV broke down a day after the warranty expired, and the guy just laughed and said "sucks to be you!"

Taco Bell, there have been to many instances of putting feces in the beans (one) in our area (plus, we're both great in the kitchen, so we don't eat out).

So, no, I won't pitch a fit and storm out if I don't get my way, I'm incredibly lenient with things wherever I go, it takes a lot to piss me off.

Oh I did not mean to imply that you pitch a fit and storm off flipping the table on the way out...my Dad really does not either...he just leaves and never comes back.

The only place I refuse to ever go into again is a local Dunkin' Donuts. My gaming group used to go to after game. One day a large group started showing up and pretty did nothing but harass us...it was like High School all over again. I went to the management who showed no interest in doing anything about it...so I never went back there.

I used to be a big fan of football, got every new edition of Madden, not as much anymore.

Mostly because of liberal guilt over head injuries, it's been two years since I actually watched a game, but I do pay attention, mostly by reading espn or grantland (r.i.p.).

My teams are Seahawks (Seattle!) And Packers, because I grew up in Wisconsin, but more importantly, I find Aaron Rodgers is most relatable as a person.

I'm way more into basketball actually, huge fan of Milwaukee Bucks, and will always root against the Zombiesonics (the team that shall not be named), also a huge fan of the Warriors, never got on the LeBron bandwagon personally.

Ah...the head injury thing never bothered me....I am not a liberal. Also the worst NFL player makes more money in a year than I'll probably earn in my lifetime...yet my job has a equal chance of permanent injury( and a much great chance of Death)...so I guess I would play it if I had the talent, skill, and physical ability to do so...with the risk.

Also the NFL has taken steps...and will continue to do so to reduce the chance of head injuries.

Eh, liberal guilt comes and goes, I get pretty pumped up for the playoffs, and it's actually opened up a lot of possibilities for stuff to do instead.

But this is mid January, no place for liberal guilt, so, go pack... go hawks... hmm, it's going to be a long winter...

I miss El Nino winter.

Oh, so many of both!

My favorite was Brinewall castle in Jade Regent, so many fun encounters packed in there (if you've played it I can share details, otherwise I don't want to give too much away.

My worst, was any time Mind Flayers or Beholders were involved, which happened entirely too much for me.

What was your favorite character in a RPG?

What are some RPGs have you played in the past or present?

Did you have to spend something like $500 on a hand made bookcase just for your RPG books and still had put a lot into storage...or is that just me?

If my own, that's a bit difficult, and really depends on any particular era, 1st edition has its own answer, but luckily they all, in a roundabout way have the same answer, [insert first name here] Dragontoe, the name is my own Vancaskerkin, except for Halflings.

Mostly DnD 1st edition, quit not too long into 2nd edition, didn't play any RPGs for a good 15-17 years, as i pursued girls, and rock n' roll, i was quite successful with the girls, not so much the rock n' roll, but overall, a good time was had by all.

i've also played Robotech quite a bit, and Heroes Unlimited is one of the best.

played Shadowrun a few times, wasn't very impressed, but loved the setting (i'm considering getting an old edition just for flavor, and using the pathfinder RPG for the mechanics).

wasn't impressed with old school Star Wars either, would like to try the d20 version.

but that's it.

NYAHAHAHAH~!

You know what this is.

Sucker~!

Cap.

Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap.

Super-serious series of questions*:

* Nnnnnnope.

If you could have 1d4 ⇒ 2 different super-powers, what would they be and why?
(Assume corollary powers required to make a given power work are part of it; i.e. Since you'd need super tensile strength/durability to, you know, not-die when you made use of your super-strength power, you get them both when you say "super strength" as a singular option.)
Why?

If, instead, you could be a gestalt of 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 super heroes, who would you gestalt to be yourself? Why? Which comic universe would you run around in? Would you prefer to be in that one, or this one?

On the other hand: BAM! You just gained 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4, 2) + 2 = 12 levels in a Pathfinder class (or classes)! Which class(es) do you pick, and why? Incidentally, if you could spontaneously switch races, would you? And if so, to which?

Similarly, you won the super-lottery, and gained mythic tiers! 3d3 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3, 3) + 1 = 10 of 'em! (And you gain class levels to match; please feel free to change your previous answer if this does so for some reason.) What path do you take? (Alternate option: substitute a single tier for a simple mythic template.)

Yet another query: you monster. Specifically, you CR: 1d30 ⇒ 6 (or less) monster! Which are you?! ... and would this have been your first choice? If not, which would be?

But the wheels of fate-time have spun again, and your everything has been transposed into that of someone else! You've just become a prepublished NPC from an official source! Which prepublished NPC is it?

What campaign setting do you run around in? Why?

As a final thing: blend any and/or all of the above questions into a single ginormous question: an optional blend of a prepublished NPC, monster, and some superheroes all walk into a bar... and out comes you, as a gestalt of those guys, the race you choose, some extra superpowers, and have extra class levels and mythic tiers on top! What are you?! (Other than "awesome" - naturally.)

Equipment is a non-issue (like adjunct super-powers; what you need to do <X> is assumed). Also note that any significant others can be brought with you.

"Official" and "Pre-published" are loose terms, but general expect something that has a solid publishing company and identifiable map/world/conceits behind it (like WotC for Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dark Sun, Greyhawk, etc; or Green Ronin for Blue Rose, but not "True20"; or Paizo for Golarion, or the Maelstrom, or the upcoming Starfinder; but not "the Bestiaries" or "the Planes" or things like that - basically things that people can find and nerd out about with you). Similarly, if it has a solid AP out for it, that, too, is acceptable (like Legendary Planet; or any of Paizo's APs). It should probably be a d20 variant, but it can be whatever you like of those many variants (True20, Blue Rose, Paizo, 3.5, 3rd; etc.). That said, if a Homebrew or otherwise "weak" entry just needs to be there due to compelling reasons... okay. Similarly other systems. Let us know why! Computer and video game translations of such (Neverwinter Nights and/or expansions/sequels; PFO; etc) are acceptable as interpretations as well.

Similarly, for comics, it needs to be superheroes that people can reasonably be expected to come across - "that one I made up with my cousin as a kid" is an awesome answer, and worth noting and why, but prrrrooooobabaly isn't the best choice, unless it's just so powerful that you've GOT to. In which case: sure, but bring us along for the ride! Related, the super need not come from one of the "big two" in comics, so long as the people and world is both recognizes me and accessible - choosing The Incredibles world is valid, as is Spawn (blech); you're not just limited to Marvel or DC. Similarly "standard" powers need not apply - so long as it is clearly communicable, it's fine (even if all the field specifics aren't clear, that's okay - knowing you're powered by our yellow star is fine; you don't need to know this, but it's acceptable if you do).

Finally, presume you have the basics necessary for a happy life. Your spouse, best friend, and so on, can all be considered to "come with you" (should they choose to do so) wherever it is that you go.

Oh, and one more thing: if you lived through a Legend of Zelda (as one of the Links); which would it be, and why?

Thanks! Enjoy!
