Blackaxe says "for your combat check recharge this card to use your strength or melee skill..."
are you supossed to recharge the weapon to play it for the combat check or are you suposssed to reveal it like most weapons?

I think its an error, because it goes on to so "you may additionally discard this card to add..." The option to 'additionally' discard the weapon only makes sense if you are revealing it, not recharging it.
Nope.
Discarding is always less interestning than recharging so "recharge... you may additionally discard..." makes sense.Although it would have been better worded as two separate powers... but maybe because of lack of text space on the card...

To replace recharging it should probably say to discard "instead". "Additionally" makes sense with reveal because you reveal, then discard. Recharging, then taking it from the bottom of the deck to discard it doesn't make any sense to me.
I don't think recharge is a typo (it just seems an odd typo, but it definitely is different from every other weapon), but if it is supposed to recharge, then it probably should be an "instead" power for discard instead of "additionally".

Different wording "If you are the only character at your location, you may recharge a card to add 1d6 to your combat check, or discard it to add an additional 1d6."
The weapon as written is mediocre, especially for loot. I certainly hope it's an error, but I am playing it (or, not playing it, i suppose) as is until I hear otherwise.
