I am still here! I ran the first Pathfinder games at GenCon 2009, and I have no intention of dropping my subscription.

Stil here.

Scarab Sages

Still here and looking forward to seeing what else they have in store for us in the years to come.

Still here. I should probably just give my paycheck to Paizo every month!

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber

Still here. I plan on keeping the Adventure Path subscription for as long as possible. While it's been a while since I've played, I still enjoy reading them - and as source material for my own world.

I bought Burnt Offerings and a five-pack of players guides from a shop.

Subscribed with Skinsaw.

It doesn't count...

But I've got an awesome shelf of books.

Still kicking, and good to see some of those familiar names here.

Still subscribing.

Every once in a while I try to make an estimate, but there's people that never ever post on the boards so it's near impossible :) However, I would expect a very, very low attrition rate - there's not that many in the first place, and anyone who's still here is very likely to stay here.

It's funny ... one of the questions I get asked a lot is "when do you think they'll put out a new version of Pathfinder?" My answer is always "Never. Why would they?" Never know what the future will bring, of course, but think about this: 3.5e was only out from 2003 to 2008 if memory serves. Pathfinder was in beta in 2008, and will have been in actual release for 8 years next spring.

Anyone see any leaks in the boat? Not me.

Postscript: My estimate is there are 816 charter subscribers left :)

Paizo Charter Superscriber; Pathfinder Companion, Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber

That is a very precise estimate.

Owner - House of Books and Games LLC

Heheh

My estimate was actually that there are 816.24 charter subscribers left, but that's a silly number of people so I went with 816 :)

Maybe the 817th is wavering.

I'm still here. Im not wavering but can I be 817?

Used to be a subscriber of all the lines, economics got me a good one though, right in the kisser.

Shelf? I got a bookcase full of RPG products, mostly Paizo's. I'm currently looking into building myself a bigger and sturdier one. I'm toying with the idea of finding a way to combine my books and my gargantuan minis together as some sort of display with this guy front and center.

I feel your pain: my AP shelf collapsed under the strain recently.

Still here, with way more books than I shall read in the foreseeable future, and WAY more adventures than I shall ever run - since we play for about three hours every two weeks. Two young kids and being a teacher = negative free time.

I'm too much of a collector to ever give up the title though I have far fewer subscriptions since the kids arrived :-)

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber

Still subbed. Time flies.

Well I lost my charter tag when I was forced to drop the subscription after Reign of Winter for financial reasons. Since Hell's Rebels I've started collecting the APs again by PDF and am thinking about resubscribing with the start of the Ironfang Invasion.

So what I'm saying is that having lost the tag doesn't necessarily means that we went anywhere. And I was already here before this whole Pathfinder thing even started so you young whippersnappers better get off my lawn.

Still and not only out of curiosity: Does anybody knows if I would get the tag back if I resubscribed? Or is it gone forever? Was a precious thing, that tag, at least for me.

I'm pretty sure you have to have been continuously subscribed (with one exception I recall where a subscriber was accidentally unsubbed without asking for it - I believe they reinstated his charter flag).

Paizo Charter Superscriber; Pathfinder Companion, Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber

IIRC the subscriber accidently ended up with two subscriptions, and when they cancelled one, they nuked the Charter one rather than the extra. He got Charter status back when Paizo staff investigated and found out what had happened.

I remember that! I seem to recall it was a couple years after the fact, too.

Yeah, it was Anguish back in 2014: Anguish's post from Aug 6, 2014

At the speed my group play and with the amount of adventure path release so far, I'll be in my retirement home before I can say that.

We started when RotR came out, and so far we finished that one and completed Council of Thieves. The next one we are starting is the Emeralde Spire. I know not a path, but it will probably take a while to do anyway.

Liberty's Edge

Is anyone able to say that?

Still here - was a subscriber to Dragon and Dungeon and took a chance on being a charter subscriber for this Pathfinder idea. Ran my first Pathfinder Society game at UK Gencon 2008. Was one of the first group of Pathfinder Society Venture Captains. Still going strong :)

I think the requirements to get the Charter Subscriber tag was to be a Dragon and/or Dungeon Mag subscriber and to have what was left after the mag was cancelled transferred to the AP subscription.

Not quite. I was never a subscriber to the magazines and still got the charter tag. I think the only requirement was to subscribe to the AP before the first issue was published. The tag was meant as a thank you to those willing to trust in Paizo before they knew exactly what they would get out of it.

Thanks for your continued support, guys. With 2017 being the 10-year anniversary of Pathfinder #1, it means a ton to us that so many of you have been with us from the very start!

You guys are awesome!

Yep, still here. I also just noticed that the 10-year anniversary is creeping on us this year, with #121. Even if I were forced to drop all the other subs I have, I would still keep the AP sub, just for the title of charter subscriber. I do recall subbing the mags back when that option became available for Europe (and using my gfs credit card, as I didn´t have one at that point). 2005 or so?

Owner - House of Books and Games LLC

So now this has me wondering if there will be a Starfinder Charter Subscriber tag :)

And as always, wondering how many charter subscribers are still standing. I did an estimate a couple years ago, I should dig out that info and do it again ... a total WAG tells me it's probably something like 350-400 at this point.

I remember going back and forth for a few days over the choice of a store credit for my remaining Dragon subscription or hopping on Pathfinder. Looking at a book case overflowing with 3E D&D at the time, I can recall thinking that if I went with Pathfinder in a few years it would be that taking up precious space in a NYC apartment. But the RotRL Player's Guide was just too awesome to ignore. A decade later, I'm still thinking I made the right choice.

Liberty's Edge

I had to give up my charter subscription after Strange Aeons due to the £ tanking against the $ (meaning that subscriptions were nearly twice as expensive as they used to be).

WormysQueue is correct. And to address Dragnmoon a bit more specifically: you could transfer leftover credit from Dragon or Dungeon into Adventure Path volumes without actually subscribing, and that wouldn't get you charter status—you had to sign up for a regular subscription before #1 shipped.

I believe I was a charter, but had to cancel before RotR actually finished due to sudden unemployment. While I have re-subscribed since, I sadly do not have that Charter tag.

I'm still here. I transferred my remaining dragon and dungeon issues into the APs. Not sure if I get the tag or not. At one point, I had a purple border, but that has disappeared.

The purple border is for "Superscribers," those that subscribed to all the product lines. Very few of them are left.

I am. I first posted as a charter member in April 2006. Not sure when I became a member though.
