PFS has zero relevance. They make all sorts of houserules, banning all sorts of items and fears and abilities.
PFS has ALL the relevance. In anybody else's campaign, only the GM's opinion matters. In PFS, the RAW is what is supposed to hold sway. Mincing words about what this and that means needn't mean a thing in the face of a GM's opinion about his own campaign. Is there some other kind of Pathfinder venue?
But I agree with Rogar. Clearly nobody is going to change their mind. Let's just wait for the blog to come out.
I change my mind quickly and easily: all you need is compelling evidence. In more than one place on this thread, I've given examples os what will change my mind.
But you should definitely stop if you don't have any more to add.
Gauss has the right of it.

PFS has zero relevance. It's full of houserules, banning items and fears and classes. Primalist and bracers of archery come to mind, but there's a lot more. PFS does not follow RAW 100% of the time.
Gauss presented what I believe to be compelling evidence. I could cite all of his posts, but that would be flippant.
As I said, nobody seems like they're going to change their mind. Let's just wait and see. This thread had already succeeded because there is going to be an official blog answering these questions in the near future. We can't ask for any more than that.
