I received a couple of early, preview / proof sets of the Tome of Beasts pawns today ...
One word ...
They look amazing and the quality is absolutely fantastic! I can't wait for the folks that ordered the pawns set to get these into their hands!
For those that have been on the fence about ordering the pawns, I'd strongly suggest taking the plunge before they sell out!!!

It is available now for preorder, and will be available for purchase from the Kobold Press store by the end of this month.
Threeshades, the Kobold store definitely accepts PayPal, so that solution will definitely work then.
We just need to ship the backer copies and pre-orders, then all remaining copies will be available to the public.
OK, cool.
My group is going on hiatus for the summer (for a variety of reasons), so I need some 5th Edition stuff to keep me occupied in the meantime. I'm working on my own homebrew campaign, so pre-published adventures won't do it for me, nor non-setting neutral campaign material.

Although I'll also give it proficiency in Strength saves, since it's so hard to move.
That guy makes me think of either the end of dodgeball or Austin Powers!

Based on the artwork, maybe give it a Reaction that might disarm a creature that hit it by forcing a Strength saving throw to hold on to your weapon (with advantage if it is being wielded with two hands) or have the weapon get lodged in a roll of fat.
You DO NOT want to make an unarmed attack against it!!!
so I know there was talk in the past maybe, but any idea if a Pathfinder version of this bestiary might be in the cards for the future? I really like Kobold Press products but I am not interested in 5E.

At the moment, we're pushing very hard to deliver all the 5E rewards. That's our focus for now.
For Pathfinder players, there's a set of Tome of Beasts pawns (to match PFRGP stats you may have in various Kobold bestiaries) and a Book of Lairs (again, to be used with existing stats). We're not ready to go head-to-head against Paizo for the Bestiary crown, though, and Pathfinder players can revel in a huge number of monstrous options. We're not ruling out a Pathfinder edition, but the 5E monster book addresses a more pressing gap for players.
Fair enough...wasn't expecting to see a Pathfinder version until quite a bit after the release of the 5E version. But as someone who owns both the Midgard Bestiary and the Southlands Bestiary, I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing a new volume from you folks!
