Items that give a dexterity enhancemnt bonus

Advice

I looking for other magic items that grant a dexterity enhancement bonus besides belts and ioun stones. I am already aware of the snakeskin tunic that gives +2 enhancement bonus to dexterity. Is there any other items that are like this or better.

Use Magic Item Creation rules.

I hope you are aware that Enhancement Bonuses to a statistic do not stack with themselves.

That being said, outside of Ioun Stones, Stat Belts, Spell Buffs, and other weird items, there aren't that many things that give an Enhancement bonus to a statistic.

True, I play a paladin(lvl 10) that just got a set of mithril full plate armor of speed that basically lets me have a dex modifier of +3 limit to my AC score. Right now I have have a dexterity score of 12 which already gives me a dexterity modifier of 1. I have a belt of physical might +2(str and con) and wish to upgrade it in the future, this already takes up my belt slot. I am aware of the belt of physical perfection that gives an enhancement bonus to con, dex, and str, but upgrading the belt of physical might is already going to be expensive as is. So basically I was looking for other cheap magical items that could up dexterity score besides belts and ioun stones. My GM has told me anything from ultimate equipment is fine, but no custom/made up gear. It seems the snakeskin tunic is my best bet, unless anyone can suggest anything else.

There's a reason different things are in different slots, and the Magic Item Creation rules even call that out. Physical buffs stick to the belt slot primarily - there's a reason the Belt of Physical Perfection is so expensive, and to allow Dex in another slot should cost about as much as the difference between a belt of physical might and a belt of physical perfection.

There is the Rod of Splendor , but as has been posted already all of the dex booster items cost at least as much as improving the existing belt. It is a standardised cost across all items

You could get yourself killed and reincarnated as an elf...

I know, that's kinda drastic. Just get the Belt of Physical Perfection and deal with it; as others have mentioned, the game is designed with this as a balancing feature.

Or, if you and your GM are so inclined, make a hat of Dexterity or a monocle of Dexterity or a codpiece of Dexterity or a belt buckle of Dexterity or a right sock of Dexterity or a bellybutton ring of Dexterity or shoelaces of Dexterity or a ... Well, you get the picture.

Ah, so that's no Ioun Stones of Dex or, Ring of the Swift Beast, then ...?

(Seekers of Secrets and Society Field Guide books are 7 and 4 year old books respectively, so not brand new ones though...)

A tattoo of Dex will cost a fair bit, but less than a belt that boosts all three stats. In addition you can make it +4 and the other two +6 seperate.

I'd recommend going that way. Get your 4 and don't worry much about it. Check tattoos out as they allow you to double up that belt slot.

We didn't say that other slotted items didn't exist - but they cost at least 50% more than an equivalent belt slot item, for balance.
