Dragon disciple increases bloodrager's draconic bloodline. My character will have 5 levels of draconic bloodrager and 10 levels of dragon disciple.

Are special abilities gained by dragon disciple based on bloorager or sorcerer?
Specifically: Wings and bloodline feats.

If wings are based on sorcerer he can use fly (almost) anytime.
If wings are based on bloodrager's dragon wings he can fly only while raging.

Similarly bonus feats can be based on sorcerer (has also quicken spell and skill focus: arcane knowledge) or bloodrager (has also cleave).

Personally I think it should be based on bloodrager.

I would say it would be based off of the Bloodrager since that was your gateway into the PRC

You don't have the Sorcerer Bloodline, so it would be the Bloodline you do have, the Bloodrager one.

Agreed with the above, Blood of Dragons will increase the Bloodrager bloodline that you used to qualify for the Prestige Class, not the (matching) Sorcerer bloodline that you don't have.

If you had both Sorcerer and Bloodrager levels I would suggest that you would have to choose one when taking your first level of Dragon Disciple and increase that one each time (remembering that multi-classing a hybrid class with one of its parent classes results in redundant rather than stacking abilities).

(I know the second part doesn't match your situation, but it may be of interest to people arriving here from search in future.)

Thank you guys :)

So, if I go from, say Skald, to DD with no prior bloodline, which do I get with this new ruling?

if you have no bloodline you get sorcerer

The sorcerers bloodline, since it does that for bards

Only while raging ok fine, but what about the fact that they increase by themselves where the sorcerer ones don't

Bloodrager
Dragon Wings (Su)

At 12th level, when entering a bloodrage, you can choose to have leathery wings grow from your back, giving you a fly speed of 60 feet with average maneuverability. At 16th level, your fly speed increases to 80 feet with good maneuverability.

sorcerer
Wings (Su): At 15th level, leathery dragon wings grow from your back as a standard action, giving you a fly speed of 60 feet with average maneuverability. You can dismiss the wings as a free action.

DD
At 9th level, a dragon disciple gains the wings bloodline power, even if his level does not yet grant that power. Once his level is high enough to grant this ability through the bloodline, the dragon disciple's speed increases to 90 feet.

clear cut for the sorc it'd give 90ft average movement, and average maneuverablity.

Bloodrager from 12th it'd be 60 ft avg movment, 14th lvl 90ft average, and then 16th 90 good?

Tangental question, the SLA Form of the dragon would be minutes per level w/o the energy damage and morale bonus from rage, the forms crappy breath weapon and as spell flight speed and special qualities.

the lvl 16 rage Form of the dragon would be equal to rounds of rage, get energy to bites and claws moral and size bonus to str/con, and better breath weapon including forms breath weapon?

Yes, and I think Yes

blood of dragons does not grant bonuses to other sources then the sorcerer side therefore RAW you would be starting at sorcerer bloodline abilities of your Draconic disciples level, caster lvl bloodrager 2 and at draconic discple 10 7 caster of either br or sorcerer.

i remember this was faq'd and they said it stacks with bloodrager draconic
