High-Level Feral Hunter: 8 / day Wild Shape vs. At-Will?

Advice

I have a 12th level Hunter (feral) character in a level 12 game that I have been thinking about retraining to be a 5 Druid (reincarnated) to better fit her concept, but I'm looking also at her overall effectiveness in the long term.

I don't have much experience with druids, so what do people think. When I am level 20 (with Shaping Focus feat) will I miss that at-will wild shape, or is 8/day enough?

Anyone?

I've never played a druid, but it seems to me that

1) most games don't usually spend large amounts of time at 20th level, and

2) the difference between eight fifteen hour wildshapes and wildshape at will seems pretty small. It just limits the number of changes per day, not the ability to be in another form all the time.

If you want the freedom of a new shape for every little change of conditions, and if you're going to spend significant time at 20th level, you might want the at will wildshaping. But if your goal is just to be in another shape the whole adventuring day, you're probably good, and if you aren't going to spend any time at 20th to enjoy it it's a moot point. Again, no personal experience, but it seems like I wouldn't miss it.
