Meet me in the Lower Ward. I'm sure I can fix you up with something.

I'd be happy to lend a hand with proof-reading and development, if it's needed. Spread my wings a bit further.
It's got to be more interesting and less frustrating then the months I've been collaborating on redesigning UK tax debt collection procedure.
Thomas Paine had it easy, he could just whistle up a dozen big lads and a battering ram.

You will each be getting an email within the next week or so detailing which submission(s) were accepted.
Congrats to you all, and a big thanks to everyone who took the time to submit their articles to us for this issue!

Congratulations to all those on the list! To those who didn't make the cut, take heart. My last submission wasn't worthy, but for this issue, something(s) were picked up. Keep writing!
Also, many thanks to Tim and all the crew for their hard work and quick response.

Glad to be considered worthy among such fine company.
There's people on that list I'd pay to read.
You can send cash, check, money orders, or paypals to me :)
Would Western Union work? I've forwarded it to you, via my new friend, the extremely helpful Nigerian Minister of Finance.

Out of curiosity, when is it estimated that work on issue #16 will begin? I'm new to Wayfinder so I'm not familiar with how often they come out really. Thanks.
They're released twice a year; I'm guessing this one would be the issue that releases for PaizoCon (late May). The next issue would probably start its article open call around then, I believe? It's been a while since I worked on any of 'em. At any rate, they do one for PaizoCon and one for the winter, so never hurts to work up something now for the next open call.

Thank you for your submission to Wayfinder #15. We wanted to let you know that we have accepted the following submissions:
“[ActualNameOfArticle]”
“”
“”
Just to be clear here, those two quotes after are not supported to contain actual article names, right? I ask because I submitted three items. I assume the latter two were rejected and the quotes were left in my mistake, but I wanted to be 100% sure first. :P
Also, yay!

So, I just sent out the acceptance letters to all those who got a submission accepted for Wayfinder #15. However, in utter brainfart fashion, I sent the mail merge via my Outlook (which I thought wasn't set up), and it sent them ALL out before I could stop it. So, if you get a "Wayfinder #14 Acceptance", it really should be Wayfinder #15.
And you got it from my personal email account, not the Wayfinder one.
When you reply....please send it along to the Wayfinder email address you used to send your submission to. It would be a small favor to me, for trying to be too clever on a Monday night.
Thanks,
Tim

No, I was using a mail merge, and accidentally sent them out via the wrong email account....before I could edit them up.
The "" are placeholders for up to three articles. If you had one accepted, then yes, the other two slots will be blank. And would have been deleted, if I had half a brain tonight.
Sorry for the confusion.....dumb Outlook.

Okay, so we've discovered something that we need as many of our writers as possible to be aware of. I'm going to post it here, and we'll be including it in future submission guidelines. This is REALLY IMPORTANT for people who use open-source software, like OpenOffice and LibreOffice, and save their files as .DOC files. There is a mismatch between file types when trying to open the .DOC files in versions of Word from 2013 and up. It results in losing the last few lines of text. Those lines can only be viewed on Word 2010 or earlier.
If you use these programs, you MUST put one or two carriage returns after your last paragraph before you save the document as a .DOC file. Otherwise, we will have great difficulty being able to read and edit your submission.
Please spread the word to others who may not see this post, in case they are already working on future submissions.
Thanks!
