Anyways, a few things that stand out:
*Some early issues (particularly #1 and #3) are really fiction heavy compared to later issues.
*#4 is the 'fluffiest'.

I'm willing to bet that was down to the PF ruleset being relatively new, and many of the contributors still getting used to the changes.

Lots of people were in the middle of D&D 3.5 campaigns, throughout the playtesting and release of the Core Rules (myself included, though I managed to slide some playtest material in).

A fiction or flavor piece would be a safe way to play in the
Golarion sandbox, without getting pulled up for a feat or ability that altered.

Even though I was active on the boards back then, I did not hear of Wayfinder until I got to PaizoCon. I hadn't heard of the werecabbages & PFU either. So those submitting were a were a pretty small bunch then. At about this same time, the Chronicler published their first fiction anthology. Wayfinder and Chronicle could share the load so to speak, and fiction moved more often to Chronicler.

My how you have grown Wayfinder :) Congratulations!

Lots of in-depth analysis and general awesomeness
Weal or Woe articles generally stay between 2-4 articles per issue, but it tends to be the category that gets the most submissions. A good staple, it seems. Yet, since we limit it to 4 max, if we get 10 WoW submissions, 6 of those are going to not making it.

Looks like I chose the wrong article for my first submission ;). Whoops!

Ditto, looks like a bad category I chose to experiment with...

I forgot how long it takes for them to make a decision on who gets in to the Wayfinder each time.

*Sigh*

Yes, but the call for #16 should be out soon, shouldn't it? :-)

We could save the time and start speculating about the theme of issue no. 17...

I think there was a hint from Timitius...17 looks to be Technology themed at least if not Numeria: See the post earlier from Unit PFWF-016.

That's just a guesstimate from me however. (I can hope can't I?)

I submitted something for issue 15. At what point will I know whether it got accepted or not? Sorry if this has been answered before, I didn't see anything on a skim through the thread. Thanks ahead of time for an answer :)

I keep checking the thread for the same reason. I think I heard we should hear by early February, but I keep hoping for word earlier than that.

Maybe someone with a little more knowledgeable than me can chime in though...

I think early February is about right. I will confer with Tim, but my January is filled with travel for work. I just spent 4 days in Japan, and am now spending a couple in Bremerton, Washington. I'm home for a week and then spend the following workweek visiting Mayport, FL, and Norfolk, VA. With all that travel, the time required to really assess the articles and put in my votes for selection is limited. That said, we did a pretty good job of getting ahead of things as submissions were coming in, so there isn't that much left to do...which is why I think we can get that part done by early February.

Thanks for your patience. We'll let you know as soon as we can.

Yes, while Paris is off globe trotting, I also have a pretty busy January. Just finishing a proposal, and then I have some time to do my part on submission review. I'd say that we should have our selections by early February, yes.

Joining the Wayfinder Facebook group is helpful. Paris or Tim link to any major updates, and the announcement of who's in the next issues qulifies for that link. You'll get a notification when that happens.

Thanks, Nordom, but perhaps I should have been less subtle.

Any solid confirmation on what the topic of the next issue will be? :-)
