Arghhh! Poorly formatted vs poorly priced vs poorly written vs confusing (why?!?). So many bad choices, and all I can do is try to pick the lesser of two evils. At least the joke items follow the proper guidelines, and so I've had to upvote them more often than I'd like.
There have been good items, and even some I really like, but they feel like they're so few and far between right now, my aggravation is winning the day.
That's actually a cool little item, but it's ridiculously overpriced.

Wow, a SiaC that's actually pretty good. Solid flavor, unique implementation, and something that makes it worth using over the actual spell in a lot circumstances!
That, and it being compared to an unformated joke item scores it my vote!

No but seriously folks, please stop putting drawbacks in your items. The drawback of your item is gold cost and opportunity cost if it's slotted. You don't need to add, backlash, damage, and conditions for using, dropping or not using the item.The biggest reason for a drawback I've seen is the "Why wouldn't they just always use it?" item. Drawbacks can be used to limit versatility from "use it literally whenever" to just "usually" or even "sometimes". That isn't always a bad idea.
It's usually better to just give the item charges, or even better: Daily uses. Or make it a one-shot item so if a character wants to use it again, they can buy or make another.
I understand the instinct for it, but most of the time the bonus the items give aren't worth the triple whammy of gold cost, opportunity cost AND drawback.

What the? I admit that I don't know everything about Pathfinder but this item. It is specifically made by and made for a thing that I'm pretty sure doesn't fit in this setting.

Wait, it does what? That would be pretty cool, except...well, what happens after it does? I mean, it's a ############. It's not like they have anywhere to go except, you know...how does that even work? You don't actually tell me, so I'm gonna have to give this one to your competition.
....you... you might have had something there if you'd stopped at one function, and realized that is not a valid item submission, and you've really essentially submitted four items with this, and... and...
....and I'm still voting for it, because the competition is even more of a mess.
That's... quite a name for what is at heart a kinda mundane function. You really wanted your item to be very dramatic, I can tell, due to your loving descriptions. It's just that... well, not every PC has a very dramatic .

Naming is important. I understand why you named your item that--it fits the theme--but it also doesn't roll of the tongue. I end up pronouncing it differently, which makes it sound unflattering and silly.
Lots of clouds of flowers and/or leaves.

......someone has no idea how pricing works. Hint: you do not need to randomly introduce new materials and items and components and then make them very expensive... to drive up the price of your already expensive item.

There is a point in voting at which joke items go from "eyeroll, minor mutter of 'really?' while also possibly smirking at the humor" to "Fecking God, you are wasting a minute of my and everyone else's life while we have to wait for this countdown, because your creator thought s/he'd be a smartass and submit a joke item."
Also, the competition for it is quite boring, and I'd prefer not to upvote it, but... you gave me a joke item.
