Mechanics questions from a new player

Advice

Hi everyone, first I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this post and answer my questions. I'm just trying to make sure I understand the rules clearly when making this character. I'm a new player to the Pathfinder system so I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything correctly. My apologies if some of these questions seem dumb :(

I'm going to make a Warpriest and it says that as a bonus feat I get a weapon focus of my choice. Does that mean that at level 1 I would get whatever feat I want as long as I meat the requirements plus that extra weapon focus feat?

I'm planning on making a Tengu Warpriest with the alternate racial traits of Claw attack. So with my starting feats I was hoping to choose weapon focus claw and weapon focus bite. I'd like to confirm that if I do this that my weapon focus claw/bite would act as sacred weapons and start off with dealing 1D6 damage.

Next I am wondering about the damage bonus of my weapons. Say my Tengu Warpriest has 14 Strength. Would all of my natural attacks be 1d20 to hit +2 from my strength. Then say I did hit I would deal 1d6 damage +2 from my strength?

Now this next one is skipping ahead many levels and planning for the future. Say my character is level 20 with pretty nice magic items and now my strength is 20.

a Helm of the Mammoth Lord (weapon focus gore)
Wand of Strong Jaw (you enhance the power of that creature's natural attacks. Each natural attack that creature makes deals damage as if the creature were two sizes larger than it actually is) So this would make my 2D8 natural sacred weapons be treated as if they were large so they would deal 3D8 damage right?

Now lets say I have a longsword in 1 hand with my 20 strength and I'm level 20 (weapon focus longsword). Do I still get my natural attacks at full BAB and full strength bonus?

I would attack 3x with my main handed longsword
To Hit: +15BAB +5 strength bonus +5 sacred weapon Dmg: 2D8 +5 strength +5 Sacred weapon
To Hit: +10BAB +5 strength bonus +5 sacred weapon Dmg: 2D8 +5 strength +5 Sacred weapon
To Hit: +5BAB +5 strength bonus +5 sacred weapon Dmg: 2D8 +5 strength +5 Sacred weapon

Natural attacks
To Hit: 1 Claw +15BAB +5 strength Dmg: 3D8 +5 strength
To Hit: 1 Bite +15BAB +5 strength Dmg: 3D8 +5 strength
To Hit: 1 Gore +15BAB +5 Strength Dmg: 3D8 +5 strength

Next we move onto Armor Spikes. For a medium creature Armor Spikes deal 1D6 damage. Lets say I take Weapon Focus Armor Spikes and they now fit into my Sacred Weapon catagory and at level 20 deal 2D8 damage. If I was to take the feat Hamatula Strike which says the following.

Benefit: Whenever you damage an opponent with a piercing weapon, you can immediately make a grapple check; success means the opponent is impaled on your weapon and you both gain the grappled condition. While the opponent is impaled, as an attack action you may make a grapple check on your turn at a -4 penalty to damage the opponent with your weapon, even if your weapon cannot normally be used in a grapple.

How would a scenario work with this. Are my Claw, Bite and Gore attacks considered piercing? Would I be able to do the following

Hit with my Gore weapon tusks. Deal damage. Then make my grapple check from Hamatula Strike. If that succeeds I would deal them 2D8 damage from my armor spikes? Is that how that works? Then as a free action I could break the grapple and now attempt to hit with my Bite attack. If that was to hit I can make another grapple check and if that succeeds I hit for another 2D8 damage from my weapon spikes? I could do that another time for my 1 claw attack assuming I have a longsword in my main hand? or 2 claw attacks if I am not using my longsword?

Thank you
Greg

FYI this should probably be in the Rules Questions section.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes, but your attack bonus would actually be 1d20+3 (+2 strength +1 weapon focus).

I would say yes but check with your GM on this one.

No. When using natural attacks to supplement weapon attacks, they count as secondary attacks. This means -5 to hit and only half strength bonus to damage. Also there's +1 to hit from weapon focus. So in your example it would be longsword +26/21/16 (2d8+10 dmg), claw +16 (3d8+7 dmg), bite +16 (3d8+7 dmg).

Not quite. Claw is bludgeoning/slashing, gore is piercing, bite is bludgeoning/piercing/slashing.

Not as I read it, no. You must make a grapple check as an attack action to deal the extra 2d8 (plus strength etc) damage with your armor spikes.

You could then break the grapple as a free action and restart it on subsequent piercing hits, but since you aren't making any grapple checks to deal damage there would be no point.

My apologies, I didn't see the rules questions section. Thank you for your response.
