Suspend my subscriptions

I would like to suspend my subscriptions.

Because my country is under capital control and (for some reason) the banks rejects payment requests from Paizo, i don't know why this is happening, i should be able to buy books, magazines etc. but for some reason the bank rejects Paizo. I tried to talk with the bank and they told me that they should be able to authorize that payment but for some reason Paizo's merchant code is being rejected.

Since i don't know how long it will take for this thing to be corrected i have to ask, for how long can i have my subscriptions suspended?

I'm sorry to hear that! I have suspended your subscriptions.

Normally, we prefer to limit suspensions to about 30 days, as items can add up quickly. But these are unusual circumstances, so we'll see what we can do to help. Keep us updated on how things are going with your bank. I think I remember someone saying the other day that their card was not currently approved for transactions outside of your country, so they had to get a different kind of card (perhaps a pre-paid one? Don't quite know all of the details).

It's true, until (roughly) two weeks ago we couldn't use our cards, for online shopping, with sellers who aren't not in our country.

Can you, somehow, get me in contact with the guy/gal who managed to work around the restrictions in order for me to see if i can use his way and manage to be able to pay you?

Upon doing some digging back through inquires, it looks like he also had a US bank account or something, and switched to the card to that one. We cannot give out customers information to other customers. Sorry for any inconvenience.

That's what i guessed, he used a foreign bank account or a card issued by a foreign bank, unfortunately i don't have either.

Anyway i will keep trying to use my card hoping that whatever it is that blocks Paizo's code (when it shouldn't) will stop doing it.


I managed to paypal to work (by jumping through noumerous hoops).
I know that Paizo doesn't use paypal because there is an issue (from Paypal's side because of subscriptions iirc) but since right now this is the only way i can use for Paizo, is there any way i can pay using paypal my pending order (Order 3641058)?

Unfortunately we are not able to accept payments via Paypal.


Based on other's people sayings there seems to be an informal relaxation on the restraints of capital controls; can you try to proccess my pending order (Order 3641058) by trying all* my listed payment methods?

*based on those who have managed to get their cards working, it seems that it's still seems quite random which cards from which banks are working, that's why i am asking you to try all of my listed payment methods (if it's possible)

I've tried all of the cards and unfortunately they were all declined with the message "General decline of the card. No other information providing by the issuing bank."

Damn!!!

The issue is that Paizo's MCC isn't on the white list for some unknown reason (it should have been since we are allowed to buy books and Paizo is a publishing house); anyway i am still trying to find a way to get a card that works, right now the "easiest" solution seems to be me doing a 300 kilometer round trip to a neighboring EU country and get a prepaid card from there.

Since i am now in the process of finishing my dissertation and my time is really limited, it's going to be at least early October before i am able to have the time to find a solution; i want to
a)apologize and thank you for your patience
and
b)ask if my current pending order is also frozen (along with the rest of my subscriptions) and i won't have any issue with that order after i reactivate my subscriptions.

Ok i got another card, this one should work since it's not from a greek bank.
Can you make a test charge (or something like that) to my mastercard that ends with 7688 (the card has only 19 euros for now, so don't test charge with a very big number) and tell me if all goes well so that i can charge the card with enough money to reinstate my subscriptions?

Good news! I was able to successfully authorize the card for $3.99. So it looks like that card should work. You may see what looks like a pending transaction on the card, that is just the authorization which will disappear when the bank releases the temporary hold on the funds. It will not finalize into a charge. I have set the card to your suspended order and you subscription, but have left both suspended until you are ready.

How much is the total for all the stuff that has been piling up from July?

PS. If the shipping cost for a single order goes too high (being an international shipment and all that) you can split it to smaller shipments if that ends up being less costly; i have no problem receiving multiple orders if it ends up less on the shipping costs.

I have reinstated your subscriptions and generated everything you missed. The shipping isn't as much as I thought it may be. It looks like Standard Post would send everything in 2 packages for $25.51. All of the other options are least twice that with UPS International being the most expensive for 1 package at $61.71. Right now it is set to Standard Post. I am sending you an updated email confirmation for you to look over. Let me know if there are any changes that need to be made. When you're ready I will unsuspend the order and get it on it's way.
