GMs should register and recruit their own tables for the special and exclusive.
If recruiting for the special/exclusive becomes problematic this gameday, we will take a more active role next time - but I think the GMs have been pretty good at recruiting in previous gamedays, so I do not foresee and issues.
If anyone needs any help though we will be available to help guide players to GMs and fill/sort tables.

one thing I noticed already is a full table... with no tier specified.. they decided to fill first then pick a tier. this could also be problematic leaving some tiers not covered or some tiers over represented.
recruitment should be for a specific tier at the start.
Not to worry, the floodgates haven't opened yet (at least mine haven't). Last time we had 150 tables, iirc.
For those wanting to replay, I have opened a CORE table of 6-97 Siege of the Serpents (Nov 5th start). I'd like to keep the average party level to the 1–2 subtier.

I have asked for player to provide Character levels so that Everyone who joins in can see what Tier is available though I agree that having GMs put up Tiers is good. It's just that we don't know how many of each tier to put up.

The Game registration page lets you enter a start date, and the default start date there is September 19. I thought games needed to start on November 5 for this; was I incorrect?
Edit: OK, I'm an idiot. It's just the Special that starts November 5; other games start September 19. Sorry about the dumb question!

We have so few 5-Star GMs in the PFS PbP community that I do not think we can add it for this event. If we did add it, we would probably have to do a lottery for players for each session ran so it wouldn't be just fastest sign-up wins.
Since even VOs have to be 5-Star to run it - that limits our available GMs.
We have another event in February or March 2016, so I would plan on running True Dragons then along with the GenCon Special - and we will try to bolster the GM 5-Star ranks for PbP between now and then.

It's gonna take me damn near a year to get to that level... More than, really. At least these specials are helping me get that much closer to qualifying!
Side note: Still waiting for Serpent's Rise to appear in my downloads for my 4-star status. Was wondering if the Siege of Serpents will be added by game day organizers as per usual?

With Mike leaving there are still a lot of unknowns, but yes - we should be getting the normal scenario support - so it should be added when we submit the gameday support request.
As far as Serpent's Rise - ping customer support if you do not automatically get it in a week or so - there's always a good chance it won't show on it's own.

Okay, time for another question... When do GMs receive their copies of the adventures in question? How does GM support work for this thing?

Generally, all of the games to be run need to be submitted by a certain date, and then they are pushed out quickly. In this case, as the Campaign Manager has stepped down, a lot of things are in flux. There is still a pretty decent amount of time before it begins, so no need to worry. I'd expect, and this is just my guess here, about 10 days prior to the Game Day start.

True Dragons is a 5-star exclusive, and I believe it was mentioned that there are so few 5-stars that it would not be feasible to run it for this gameday. Possibly the next one, but no guarantees.

August Scenario Releases have been added to the Session Submission form.
GM Session submission deadline is being extended through August 31st, 2015 at 12 PM CDT US [UTC-5]. So you have a little more time to work out who is running what, et cetera.
Tyler: If we decide to run True Dragons it will be a raffle for player seats, since we will only have a couple of GMs who can run it. But I would rather hold it until the Feb/March 2016 Gameday. (It will also be run in "real-time" in an upcoming VTT gameday here soon.)

My table just filled up from pillaging another that was unfortunately unable to run it. It seems like the number of Serpent's Rise tables is about on with what's needed, maybe 1 or 2 more. The Siege of Serpents tables seem to be massively over the amount needed (which is better than not having enough), i.e. several I've seen have 0-3 people signed-up, but there's still a long time for that to change.

Haven't had that problem yet. Launched mine a few days ago and have one seat filled.

Hmm, I'm still basically brand new to this, but it sounds like rerolls (and product ownership more generally) tends to go on the honor system mainly. I suppose you could ask someone to email you a picture of their folio or something, but that seems a bit excessive.
More generally, I did just add one more Core siege table, as there are only two listed, and the one with forum signups was full. Tier will either be 1-2 or 3-4.

Same here. I've been asked to send a picture once, which I literally could not due to deployment, and then a second time which I could. Then I got the Character Folio and it's never happened again. :P
But yes, it's mostly on the honor system. You can, however, at the least confirm the number of GM stars a Player has by looking at the characters avatar, and then from there clicking on their main avatar.
As a DM, I actually try to reserve my free Reroll for the player's benefit when something goes really, really poorly. Like a Scythe/Great Axe Crit. Or sometimes a Save that means they sit out the fight and do nothing. In PbP, that's no fun and can last for real life days.

The game submission deadline for product support has now passed.
The list is being sent to Paizo and people should have their scenarios within a week. ( In Theory =b )
You may still submit games for the gameday, but you will not get the scenarios for free after this point.

Hey all, just thought I'd also post here.
If you are new to PbP and are having trouble finding a game, do consider signing up for my run of The Confirmation, here. I'm recruiting only new players as an attempt to get more people into PbP and to allow those who don't have any PbP experience to have a chance to build their "PbP resumé".
All that aside, have fun in PbP GameDay 4, everyone! Such a cool event. Almost makes me wish I didn't play Siege of Serpents at GenCon so that I could play it here instead. I love the PbP format so much!

I'm a little late to the party, but I want to get my feet wet as a PFS DM. I threw up a run of the Confirmation (with a different focus than the other one that's open) that I'm hosting over at RPOL, but I'd also like to try out something hosted here. Anyone have a request? Obviously, I can't do anything requiring stars.

Slowly crushing my own will to live so I can get my 4th star... 10 sessions to go!
After playing Serpents Rise I am determined to get the 4th star so I can run the scenario for my local group as I want them to experience it before getting too far into S7, it was just that good!
I am now running 7PBP's, as well as face to face games and Pathfindering til me eyes bleed... puff puff... will need a good lie down once I get-it-done. The 4th star requirement makes me cry a bit, but an end Oct deadline is notionally achievable...!

I'm right there with you. I'm down to 4 more, and I'm currently running The Scions of the Sky Key Trilogy (started as x2), Phantom Phenomena, Fane of Fangs, School of Spirits, Slave Ships of Absalom, and Hell's Rebels (non-PFS). I'm considering doing the Heresy of Man trilogy, too.
It's so close. Going to make it during this game day.
It's like trying to run in deep mud. Feels very slow,
