Our amazing Legendary Planet Kickstarter is rocking into its final weekend, now over 600 pages and climbing! We have only the final adventure yet to unlock, and we guarantee that final adventure will be completed and included for all backers in the final compilation!
This is your chance to hop on board a spectacular sword-and-planet adventure saga by some of the best authors in the RPG business - Neil Spicer, Jim Groves, Mike Shel, Matt Goodall, Richard Pett, Steven T. Helt, Tim Hitchcock, and Jason Nelson, plus guest contributors like Sean K Reynolds, James Jacobs, Patrick Renie, Chris A. Jackson, Erik Mona, and the Sasquatch Design Studio team of Richard Baker, Dave Noonan, and Stephen Schubert! Available for 5th Edition rules and for Pathfinder, in PDF and in print. You can pledge for just the introductory adventures or for the whole thing.
Backers will be able to download the prelude adventure, "The Assimilation Strain," and the Legendary Planet Player's Guide immediately after the end of the Kickstarter, with "To Worlds Unknown" following in mid-August and each new adventure arriving every 1-2 months, plus a final compilation PDF and massive hardcover available no later than July 2016.
We're over $45,000 and about to hit 350 backers, unlocking a fantastic cover artist for the final compilation of the entire saga. Check out the latest update and spread the word. This adventure is gonna be out of this world!

Let me loudly echo Jason's post: this is a truly amazing project, with some your favorite adventure authors, a multiverse-spanning story that takes you to incredibly diverse settings and introduces a bevy of new monsters, aliens, and NPCs. I'm hard at work now on my chapter, The Scavenged Codex and am really excited by the artwork I'm seeing. Check out Jason's latest update for a preview of the cover!

Let me loudly echo...
No, Mike already did that bit.
Try again...
No matter what happens, all of the adventures will be in the compilation, even if Jason has to write the last one himself!
Wait a minute...
Dang it.
On a more serious note, this epically huge adventure path with awesome ideas deserves your attention, folk, even if you only throw $1 in. You can back it through Kickstarter, but LG are also taking PayPal off-the-books pledges, too.
There really is no reason to avoid backing this and making it even more awesome.

The verdant sorceress iconic is looking kinda male in all these covers, =)
I suppose plant-based races don't have quite the same degree of secondary sex characteristics as the St. Pauli Girl. :)

And we just hit 350 backers so who is the surprise artist??

That would be the redoubtable and radiant Ralph Horsley, who did such a magnificent job on the cover art for our Mythic Hero's Handbook.
Check out the latest update here, and let's push on with less than $500 to go until our next bonus goal, a bonus bestiary of baddies for Mind Tyrants of the Merciless Moons!

Woohoo and many thanks to all our backers! We have unlocked ANOTHER bonus goal, a planetary gazetteer for the gas giant and its merciless moons. Now over 800% funding with 27 hours left, we now have $50,000 in our sights to add James Jacobs as a guest author and stretch towards 700 pages. MAKE IT SO!!!

Thanks to everybody for keeping the faith and pushing this product so hard. We had a great beginning and we're looking at a great finish! I have a feeling we'll be making that final gazetteer!
Sorry I haven't been posting here all day - I've been dealing with a ton of freight-related issues for our Mythic Mania Kickstarter books, but I should be good to go for our final hour!

Yay, PDFs!
First and so far only negative reaction, from the Players Guide: It seems counter-intuitive to me that a culture trying to adapt to terrible storms on a [d]desert[/i] planet would incorporate clockwork mechanisms into their own bodies. However magical they may be, that seems like it would make the situation so much worse... just imagine the sand and grit getting into the gears... o.O;
Apart from that fluff, though, I do like the auttaines' inherent-customization thing.

Not that it's likely, but if another $2000 comes in through Paypall, will that count for hitting the last reward their of To Kill A Star?

Y'know, the reason I asked about Paypal was precisely because a lot, I mean a LOT, of Kickstarters do in fact count that towards their stretch goals after the official end.
I am immensely disappointed to hear otherwise. :(
To be fair, they did count Paypal during the Kickstarter for completing stretch goals and I highly doubt we would actually make it to the next one off of PayPal alone because the last one was just obtained.

Fear not, Evil Midnight Lurker!
Of the remaining one stretch goal we didn't reach, 6 of the 12 pages are Chris Jackson's fiction story, which I think we've already announced will be completed, and the other 6-page article slot will be filled by Clinton Boomer's evil civilization article (the 400-backer goal), so the content and page count from that final stretch goal is already going to be filled, even if we don't raise a single dollar from post-KS pledges!

What I think he is after is the final stretch goal on top of those other things if people Paypal it...
I don't see a need, but that seems to be the idea.
It's a fear of lost content.

If we get a goodly stream of post-KS pledges, it may yet be possible. We'll see what happens.
