I was looking for #25: The Bastards of Erebus (Council of Thieves 1 of 6), the PDF is still out there but it seems that there are no more physical copies at Paizo. So I went out to Amazon to see what then had....Holy Cow! It listed starting a $90 going all the way up to $200?

Just wondering if Paizo ever looked at the print on demand. The stuff from RPGNow is good quality. I can settle for the PDF but I would rather buy a physical copy if available. Just a thought

They have looked at print-on-demand a few times over the years. The biggest sticking point (I believe) has been the quality and consistency. (Though there is also an issue of reducing sales of current products as casual purchasers have an ever-growing pool of adventures to pick and choose from).

Although I haven't heard it confirmed by anyone official, I suspect they'd be looking to do it in-house, rather than outsourcing delivery of product. That would mean a substantial capital investment and you wouldn't want to pull the trigger on that until you were comfortable the choice you were making was going to provide saleable product for several years.

It's worth noting that nobody is actually paying $200 for an AP instalment. That's an artefact of two bots responding to one another's asking price in a market with not many sales to normalise the prices.
