Evil alignments are usually the first thing a DM says no to, which means that classes like the antipaladin get a loud "HELL no!" However, this week I'd like to discuss an unusual character concept: The paladin with a dark history. If a paladin can fall, then surely an antipaladin could rise? Additionally, with a villainous background, you get either a dark secret to hide from the party, or you get a reputation that might make you sought out by not-so-good folks.
This one follows in the spirit of the Android Barbarain concept I posted about a month or two ago.
