If they got an ability to reduce or bypass resistance (for themselves only) it should also appply to spells. Since standard non adjusted 6lv spells are going to hit quite a wall as it currently stands.

mystic beamer idea, vague as it is:

I personally still want a Mystic Beam. oh and while I use "beam" I also would still want it to have the melee function too. all the options I talk about can apply to both melee and ranged just fine. Mystic Beam just reminds me more of the game where I saw something like this in)
An upgrade path or alternate choice. (lv 1 choose, full attakc mystic bolt, mystic beam, or 1st lv casting) LIke you target someone, and use a standard action. Each round you spend focusing on them it does more damage.

It can't be "full attacked" but it does decent one hit damage a round damage. Obviously not amazing since it's only one hit and made for a different purpose.
The first round it does damage and has some sorta DC for a special effect.
The second round, the damage scales up, and the DC becomes harder (either it scales up, or it only becomes harder if they failed a roll already. Either or)
Third round it does more, and becomes harder still.
If they leave your area you have to start over I guess (which is harsh with 30ft so maybe increase the range as you level up)
Maaybe a talent that allows you to increase the range .

The extra rounds options open up as you level up, so it's not like a lv 4 guy is super melting something. Honestly I can't really think of how this would work, I just like the idea. I guess it would need a pretty decent scaling damage considering how fast some combats are. so yeah no clue how it works

So you could become the focused beam guy.. Sure its' weird but it's just always been my favorite idea.

I've always liked that magus' elemental touch and it's line, so you could snag some of thoes ideas. but make them less costly. LIke put a few options in one talent. Because on a magus, you'd rarely if ever choose that line because spell casting stuff is better. BUT on a warlock your actively choosing between spellcasting and zapping. So allowing a longer ranged one, that branches off and hits nearby peopel for 1/2 damage (still inccuring debalties) would be a not horrible option for a non casting warlock. so they could be buffed up a lot to make up the difference.

Like.. this would be a non full attack option. Instead of more damage you'd get from full attack, you deal decent amount of damage, but you get debilities, and eventually the longer range, and aoe effects like the magus pool strike line. Which I think is sorta similiar..

Pool striek arcing
Benefit: The magus can expend 1 additional point from his arcane pool when using the pool strike arcana. If his attack hits, the magus can target a number of enemies within 15 feet equal to his Intelligence modifier (minimum 0) with a ranged touch attack as a free action. Those struck take the same energy damage as the primary target of the pool strike, including increased damage on a critical hit.
Like adapting that, except no cost since they dn't have points.


Basically this would give 3 options for a warlock I see.
Caster warlock,
FULL attack warlock (yeah they get partial casting but its mostly gonna be buffs)
or "emperor" style. They have a little casting but mostly they focus on sustained damage and debilties.

If it managed to be balanced ok, I'd take this option over the others, just for how fun it would seem and look. but i'm a cool over smart guy so take that as you will
