I'm trying to put together a Kensai who will feel like a Jedi (or maybe a Sith) once he gets going.
Flamboyant Arcana will give him Derring Do, and spending arcane pool to boost a jump or tumble check beyond what he should be capable of can easily be flavoured as using the force to telekinetically throw himself.
Throwing Magus will let me throw my rapier at enemies. It's not quite the same as Hand of the Apprentice which is much more clearly telekinetically throwing the weapon, but I'm not willing to dip Wizard just for the ability, and there's (unfortunately) no Wizard equivalent of Believer's Boon.
Ghost Blade will let me put Brilliant Energy on my weapon (once I'm high enough level to grant +4 worth of abilities to it anyhow).
And I'm going to spend feats to get Spell Blending, probably twice - once for Heroism and Battering Blast (which I'm going to flavour as a force push), and a second time for Telekinetic Charge (mainly to use on myself) and ????.
What I need suggestions for is a second 4th level spell to gain from Blending, and any spell or feat that I can use to simulate a force choke.

I don't think you need spell blending. Force Punch has a similar effect to Battering Blast and is a better spell for a magus anyway. Herosim is a fine spell, but I don't think it is worth an arcana, particularly when there are plenty of other fine spells to use your limited spell slots on.
I don't like Force Punch for this purpose in that it's a melee touch attack. Force Pushing should be something done at a range.

Force punch and the Reach metamagic?

If this isn't PFS, what if you used Variant multiclassing wizard for the universalist school? Getting Mage armor with spell blending can be very good for a kensai and flavorful for a force user. The other abilities you get can be very good in general for a magus (though the cantrip is underwhelming for everyone)
