[Spoilers] Good low-level PFS adventures with no undead

Liberty's Edge 4/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, California—Los Angeles (South Bay)

I fear that I may have overdid the undead theme recently at one venue where I am a store organizer/GM. So, what are some good scenarios for levels 1-5 with no undead?

Shadow Lodge 5/5

Nearly all of them?

I'm not actually kidding. I'm really impressed that somehow you pulled off overdoing the undead theme. I've always been surprised at how few scenarios there are.

Maybe pick a social or investigative one? They tend to have less.

3/5

tide of twilight
Between the lines
slave ships of absolom
the overflow archives
The disappeared
The veterans vault
The bloodcove disguise
Murder on the throaty mermaid
The frost fur captives
The icebound outpost
assualt on the kingdom impossible
citadel of flame(the one undead that can appear is fake)

Shadow Lodge 4/5

There's a haunt in one of Finlanderboy's listed scenarios. Do we need to avoid those too?

Mine:

The Hydra's Fang Incident
The Prince of Augustana
The Beggar's Pearl
Delirium's Tangle
The Darkest Vengeance
Severing Ties
The Glass River Rescue
The Horn of Aroden

Silver Crusade 4/5

Really? In early seasons, it was a recurring joke that undead, swarms, and darkness were WAY too common in Society scenarios.

Agree with a lot of the suggestions above. Add in Frostfur Captives and Rise of the Goblin Guild as two more that don't focus on undead. They focus on goblins instead. *evil grin*

Seasons 0 and 1 have a ton of undead in them, yeah. It's season 3 that's swarm and darkness country.

2/5

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I ran a selection of scenarios with supernatural themes as an extended Halloween celebration last month. Naturally, many undead and ghosts were involved. The first adventure I ran this month was

Trouble in Tamran:
Of course the players would not believe their will saves to disbelieve the ghost illusions the arcanists were using to scare folks away from the ruined fort. It didn't help that one of the first to disbelieve was the cavalier's riding wolf.

The Aspis would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling Pathfinders and their dog.

Wait? I specifically remember this not being the case. Its not undead focused which I enjoyed but it definitely has undead.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Only on high tier.
